We ate at Pink's yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very much above CP quality and was actually reasonable in price. I had the "Scottie Dog" which was onion rings around a 9" dog with barbaque sauce on the top; it was absolutely amazing. We also tried out the "Double Feature" that everyone keeps talking about, but for clarification, it is TWO hot dogs on ONE bun, but if you want to split it then you can cut it in half. The onion rings and fries were exceptional, but note that this is definitely a sit-down, eat, and enjoy type of place, not the type of place that you can just rush through, nor would you want to.

I still believe the costs of those items are expensive. I don't care if you get all the toppings one could want, and chips, or sauerkraut, or whatever, it should not be that much. I know I can get all of that for 4 bucks right down the road I live. I know it's not AT Cedar Point, but how are they going to make money if no one has money to spend it on?

Some people have more money than others, obviously. They make money off the "haves", not the "have nots". I won't criticize the Pink's prices, I think they are reasonable for amusement park prices considering the quality of the food and the portion size.

The pricing at Pink's seems right on target to me. Not only do you get a ton of toppings on the dogs, you get an experience as well. This is a well-known establishment often featured on the Travel Channel, where I first heard of Pink's a few years ago.

Compared to the various midway baskets around the park, the price is nearly the same depending on the type of hot dog. You also get about the same amount of food... and considering local hot dog establishments, I would say Pink's are probably the most loaded I've seen.

If they wanted to import a west coast fast food staple, it should have been in and out burger...mmm!

I love to get on Cedar Point's case about food prices as much as anyone, but I enjoyed Pink's and felt the prices were just fine for the experience. $6 for a loaded hot dog with charm is fine; $6 for a pretzel with cheese is not. My friend hates amusement park food, but he really enjoyed his stretch chili cheese dog. I'll be returning, and that's a major win for Cedar Point.

I didn't eat there, but just browsed around, and everyone eating seemed very happy. Plus, the signage and atmosphere really makes the spot look much nicer. I'll definitely be grabbing something from Pinks to try it at some point.

Does anyone know if they have the burrito dog(s)? Had my first one in LA back in 2001 and have had one every time I've been on the coast. (6x) First one was simply 2 dogs, chili & cheese burrito. The next time I found out they added bacon which I didn't like and learned to tell them no bacon on it. Best "dog" in the country as far as I'm concerned.

I ate Pinks on Friday for the first time and thought it was some good stuff. Seems like a pretty fair deal in terms of price, taste and quantity. Not something you'd eat on every visit, but definitely a once or twice a year thing in my opinion.

I forget the name of the hot dog I got, but it was wrapped in onion rings and covered in BBQ sauce. Surprisingly delicious.

Scottie Dog, that's the name of the one I had!

I wanna try the chilli dog with mustard and onions on mine :)

Those prices are not too high if the quality is better.

I live in Chicago and you all know the great food we have. I know Pink's is from Cali and I am sure the hot dogs cant compare to Chicago.

Well I spend $200 a night for a room, not including all the taxes, for a room with no fridge, so, Pinks does sound expensive like everything else there, ,the buffet seems like the best value when you are staying a week on a limited budget. Is that right or have I missed something? Then again going on the Millenium after the buffet wasn't such a good idea....

All three times I've eaten at Pinks I've been very full afterwards. That's without fries either. They are pretty high quality and they definitely pile on the toppings.

I think Pink's prices are on target for the amount of food you get. However, I feel a little different than many of you about the quality of the food, which makes this a dining option I'll never use in the park again.

The problem for me starts with the base (the humble wiener): it has no taste. I did not taste the other sausages - I was after what made them famous - a hot dog. I got a Mulholland which had the 9" dog, bits of bacon, nacho cheese, and onions/mushrooms that they claimed were grilled, but they were merely "warmed" on the griddle.

When you pile on average ingredients, a ridiculously slow wait time when they're busy (15 people behind that counter and there's STILL a huge wait??) and a glitzy gimmick, I'd rather have the park's normal hot dog combo of a Sugardale, chips and a drink for around $6.

I think the best sausage at Pink's is the spicy polish dog. It has a lot of flavor and is nice and spicy. I also had a chili and cheese dog, I liked the chili and the other toppings, but I can see how the dog itself can be described as bland as it was hard to taste over the toppings.
