A little of topic but can you get into the park on opening day through the soak city entrence.

I imagine you ought to be able. Even if Soak City won't be open on May 12, Challenge Park should be.

Yeah, I went through the SC enterance last year. And I'm still a little confused about the ERT. If last years was 9:00, does that mean that this years is 8:30 or are they just pushing the actual opening of the gates to the GP to 10 instead of 9:30? I suppose just letting the GP in at 10:00 makes more sense.

The entrance to the park that most guests in the Breakers hotel use is the one by Soak City, so I can't see why they woudn't have that entrance open.

I park @ Breakers usually....that way I can be @ the park and also chill out on the beach for a nice li'l break for an early dinner or so,..unless I'm doing Starlite Hours...then I try to park to the FAR RIGHT SIDE of the main parking lot, by Employee Parking- easier access to getting out on the Chausee or Causeway later at night.

Can you park at Breakers if you're not staying there?

I don't thinks so. There is an officer at the guard house that leads to the Breakers, and I believe he will ask you why you are traveling back there.

They also issue a parking permit that is to be placed on your dashboard upon checkin.

As for Opening Day, I won't be there. I've decided to go the Sunday(13) Monday(14) instead on account of work and me wanting to experience short lines on that Monday.

I'll be there opening day...definitely going to ride Maverick first..

Blah, I won't be there again for a second year in a row. Work will be in the way. I shouldn't have a problem making it the Monday after opening day.

I sure am Adam. It will have to be a Monday or Tuesday though. A Sunday would be a slight possibility though. Are they open Sundays?

As for parking at the breakers; just tell the officer that you are going to eat at the Fridays restaurant.
