Yeah, I know it doesn't seem like much. But, this is the next phase in figuring out what this thing is going to be. You can learn so much more about a ride once the supports start going up.
THIS is why I love PointBuzz so much. :)
This is so freakin awesome that they start to put the supports up!!!

so doug - did your "informant" say where the first supports went up??
There's a couple near where the fence is located, and then a few more towards in the center of the site.

thanks doug. i checked out "the other" site. very very intriguing pics. can't wait to start connecting the dots. :-)
It's funny how five tiny supports can create so much discussion.
But piles of dirt have done the same thing, so I shouldn't be so shocked.

they do...down here in louisiana where im on vacation right now they have a place called corn dog 7 that has alot of types. CP only has 2..:( cheddar and pepperjack. i say we email them and tell them to add american cheese...lol
I asked about cheese-on-a-stick on the CP blog. :) I'm with maXaiRaptor - I LOVE it.
Does CP have the spicy cheese-on-a-stick, or just the regular ones? I only get the regular ones, so I don't know. ha ha!!
EDIT: I see the response now. Looks like the answer was posted mere minutes before the question. Now we have Jeopardy on our hands here. ha ha ha!! *** Edited 7/18/2006 11:33:14 PM UTC by halltd***

By the looks of the supports that have been erected it looks like that long stretch of straight footers may be a launch section. The supports look like a part where it might launch into a very sharp turn. This is just a guess.
okay..how close to the ground are we talking..if its up high that will be fun, but if its lower than 50 feet, i dont like it!
See, I was thinking the opposite. There are some quite lengthy supports laying on the ground over by all the straight-line footings. I am thinking that's the hill. But, over the next couple of days/weeks, we should have a really good idea. :) VERY exciting. (at least to me!)
