Don't ask to test. Just do it. Wait until no one else is entering the ride and take a seat. That's what I did. And besides. If you look like a close fit, they'll turn you around before you get in the line and make you, I saw them do that to two people the second time I tested it (tested once before eating and once after, just in case).
Good luck. Enjoy Millennium Force, one of the greatest rides I've experianced thus far.

Well if you read some of the earlier posts I am getting some walk-ons on my next visit and wondered if I should test out the test seat before I get the walk-ons....

I just do not want to be seen as a person to take advantage of a situation that happend but I really wanted my first dragster ride to be a front seat one ......
Says the guy who called everyone in the company to bitch about not being able to ride.

Given the fact that he fit into the test seat, it does seem that he should get some sort of retribution.
And I wouldn't call it "bitching", Jeff. Well, certainly not "bitching without reason".

Well anyways another quick update.. When I go I will not have to wait for either millenium or ttd.. I am going to be able to ride front seat on dragster which is a welcome relief and I cant wait for that... They also said that I would not have to try out the test seat before riding...
Also I am sorry if I came across as being a jerk and proabbly should not have called everyone in the company but I did not want just a cookie cutter response which is what I got with the first person that I talked too.. She was like well sorry but the test seat is the same and if you can not get it buckled in a sinsinct amount of time then oh well...
Anyways the person that has been working with me now is a awesome manger at the point and has a head on his shoulders and knows how to get things done...
Bob Wozniak is the best person at the point thus far that I have dealt with and if you are reading this then thank-you...

I'm rooting for on your quest to loose weight and congrats on finding a helping hand. It's great that they did that after the experience with the MF crew.
New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!
6 days to go untill my next attempt...
I have gained 5 pounds unfortuantley but I am unable to determine whether it is muscle weight or fat weight....
Muscle weight doesn't come that fast. Neither does fat, truthfully.
It's probably water weight. I know on any given day, my weight can vary by 6-10 lbs depending on how many gallons of water I have consumed. Weigh yourself again in the morning, after you rid yourself of your excess water, and you should see a better number.
Also, a little tip. If you want to see a significant drop in water weight, and give yourself a little more room in the belt (pants and/or MF) - drink a LOT of water for 3 days straight. By a LOT, I mean a LOT. It will flush all of the excess water and toxins out of your system, so you really can't go wrong.
You should be drinking about 64 ounces of water a day, or 1 cup for every 20 lbs of body weight, whichever is higher. If you're dieting and excercising, you need to increase your intake. You need to drink TWICE as much as it takes to quench your thirst - for example, if you drink a glass of water and you're no longer thirsty, drink another one. -
I personally consume about 1 1/2 - 2 gallons a day, mostly because I work out every single day of the week.
I eat 6 small meals a day, and I need something to keep me full.
I seriously hope this helps you out. It can be a slow process but I know you can do it man.

Quick update...
3 days to go .... WooHoot.....
310 pnds .....
A date with Milli ... who knows what will happen....
I don't mean to burst your bubble, but at 310 lbs you'll never get on the MF or the TTD, but good luck anyway. I weighed 230 lbs last year and I only made it on MF once. The second time I tried I didn't fit and they wouldn't let me try another seat so I had to get off. Ever since CP has changed those seatbelts my CP experience has never been the same. I'm allways worried that I wont fit on any rides, and it's hard to loose weight, even if it's only 20 lbs, so good luck.
Just so you know I fit TTD I went last month and fit no problem so dont assume that I will not fit. It depends on how you body is made and how you fit in the seat... as stated on Cedar Points website...
Edited for comin across a little harshly. Sorry. *** Edited 6/13/2006 1:30:45 PM UTC by Eleazar721***
Eleazar, good luck on the 15th, I will be there also, with my teenaged kids, keep an eye out for me and say hi. See profile for my pic.
First trip June 23rd
He might be able to fit on @ 310, everyone carries their weight differently. On MF, it matters mostly on your thigh/butt size. You could weigh a lot, but have it all up above and probably fit. I used to weigh 275, and barely fit on MF. This started me on my weight loss and now at 200, I fit fine.
Elzar, I sympatise with your situation. When I first when to CP last year, I couldn't fit on Millie. In two moths of working in the park, I lost 4 inches on my waist and 25 lbs to fit. The first time i rode (was from the front seat) made it all worth it.

Then you must have an akward weight, becasue even when I weighed 275 I still fit on all of the rides. I'm about 240-45 now and i can still get two inches on the belt.
Dude, dont give up. Keep taking the weight off. go back at the end of the summer and you should be fine. also try ridiing in the morning before you eat or at night when you have walked off some of your weight. I also agree with exit. Drink alot of water. You will be fine. Dont give up try again next time.
Also Congrats on joining the 420 ft high club! ;)
