Jeff's comment about enthusiasts being disappointed continues to irk me. Upside down seems highly unlikely based on clues dropped by people who know.

The only thing that is throwing me off is the fact that they are using WWL's station. I thought about how TTD's unload is on a curve (is there any other coaster that does this?), so it is possible to have a train in there. But why would they want to do that?
It's been mentioned that they may just have left it as a barrier to the construction for this season; but who knows, we'll have to wait and see.

again - using WWL's station is a theory. i haven't seen a press release from CP indicating this yet. nor have i seen any new construction in there. as far as we know, the station is being retrofitted into a new revolving restaurant at the end of this season.
This the one you're talking about?
Best RollerCoaster in the World = Millenium Force
I did a little Google-ing and found rumors of an Aquatrax coming to Cedar Point that go back all the way to 2004. Now I know that doesn't mean much, but the Skyhawk rumors were right, the maXair rumors were right, the TTD rumors were (mostly) right....

I say Mega-Looper, with the first hill swooping downward into the former swan boat area and with 11 inversions....I think that would break a record right???...Sidewindin' could mean all the inversions or all the tight turns on an aquatrax...tough situation here.
If you want suspense, get an Intamin coaster, where all of our track looks the same!
Intamin just built an Looper in China that opened in Febuary 2006.

A 500 footer has been the rumor since the day TTD opened. maXair and Skyhawk were obvious because they are the only two type of flat rides that have a capacity CP needs. TTD came when Xcelerator was being built at Knott's Berry Farm. Point is, an Aquatrax is a possibility, but I think this is a new product from Intamin. Prototypes don't seem like something CP needs, but the marketing is easy. *** Edited 5/11/2006 4:59:14 AM UTC by Gomez***

As long as the new attraction brings back a few trees I'll be happy. At least the fence makes the area a little more manageable in terms of viewing pleasure.
All signs (literally) seem to be pointing toward some sort of spinning/backward element.
I used to work at the park and I know what coming for 2007! It worth telling the nice folks in pointbuzz land, here is a clue "it will shock you "

Hmm, something told me to drive past the Breakers Express this afternoon when I left East of Chicago at 2:30. Wonder why I ignored it?
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I wish the color was different... like maybe Black or Grey. All I hope for is that it will be a great addition.

not really shock you

Give me a break. That track could belong to virtually any Intamin coaster made in the last six years. So who is the person at the park that insists on covering the track? Doesn't that seem really silly, or perhaps even stupid, at this point?
It's kinda stupid at this point as far as secrecy goes, but I'm sure they'd wanna cover the track up anyway to keep it weather-safe.
Plus there's always the GP that doesn't check websites about this kind of stuff, so there's still somewhat of a point to keeping it covered up.
