I think this would be a neat element and would also go with the "some serious sidewindin" sign
I wonder if CP will reused the WWL queue and station becuase both are still currently present (well, most of the station foundation and stuff). I don't know how the station would be incorporated, but it's still there.

I have a feeling that the queue might be used. If the old WWL station is part of the new station, then they've already got a solid 45 minute to an hour of queue already in place, depending of course on the capacity. That would be cool though because you'd feel like you're in line for White Water Landing again :).

You guys have seen the size of those footings, coming from no engineering background, don't you think that it's something much bigger than an Aqua Trax.
Yes.

Sorry, Josh, but I just don't see this as a deliberate marketing decision. The construction schedule is obviously dictating the decisions.

When is RCDB gonna update with Cedar Point getting a new coaster? I mean, seeing pieces is pretty ovious.
So there starting construction this early because they have to?
Wow, Either this going to be big.. as in hight, or it's going to have lots of themeing, because themed coasters start construction of the ride early, then the themeing takes up the rest of the time.
Plus they have a deadline... I guess.

I was thinking the same thing... probably not until there is actual track on supports, attached to footers. At that point, there isn't much doubt.

Jeff, I agree that there is a construction schedule to follow, as was the case with Dragster, but the way they are handling the "buzz" around the construction I feel is a very well done marketing plan....
Or maybe I'm just missing it all...

Regarding the question about RCDB, this is an email I got from Duane after asking him about it:
"Hi,
Cedar Point is trying to keep this a secret, so I will respect that and not post anything yet.
Duane"
So it'll probably be up there either when vertical construction starts or when something is announced.
