when i was there today the most interesting part was that MANY of the footers were lined up in parrallel or double placments except for two areas
if you get a chance definatly travel behind the old frontierland carousel building and look at the MASSIVE amount of footers that are within almost inches of each other, becuase you will notice two distinct parrallel lines of footers
if you stand at the entrance to the palace theatre in frotiertown and face the construction, you'll see two parallel lines of blue flags that eventually lead up to where the other parallel footers are already poured
the area is such a mess is impossible to make sense of the entire scope of the project
also for those that can make sense of the pictures, if you look at the arieals from last month there are about 50 more footers that have been poured however they are all in the area that already has footers in those pics.....the land where most of the beginning and end of white water landing was has no footers just flags and construction equipment and dirt EVERYWHERE!
I've ridden X at SFMM. Its a really fun ride, i'm not gonna lie, but the day we went it had numerous downtimes throughout the day. If CP build a 4D coaster by some chance and it has problems like X or TTD, CP will get some great news time about plagued rides just like TTD got its first two years. Can't blame the matinence workers either for TTD. It seems like its mostly design errors that have caused the problems. How does everybod know that the piece of track in Breakers Express lot is red especially since you can't go up and lift up the tarp. If it is really red, its not gonna be an Aquatrax, that wouldn't look right in that area at all. Skyhawk doesn't really look right either, but a red water ride doesn't make sense. Does intamin use the box track for looping coasters? If so, my prediction is a good, solid mega looping coaster, that doesn't shatter the height or speed record. Just a good, fun coaster that everybody can enjoy.

Well considering the size of WWL, (imo) there is a lot more site prep that needs to be done than if you were begining with virgin land.

If paint on the ground and stakes with paint on them are any indication, it's a distinct possibility that part or all of Antique Cars' area may be annexed for the coaster as well.

Because there is a picture with a corner of the tarp lifted where part of the track is visible and it is red.

I am very literal-minded, so the verbal cues on the signs regarding going a new direction, backing up, etc. indicate to me that the ride will go backwards at some point, maybe near where the signs indicate that there is a new direction.
Personally i find too much spinning and going backwards nauseating, but unfortunately I'm not in charge of ride design yet. And I'm a little old for the target market...

Well, I've been on X as well up at SFMM. At some points of the ride, you are going backwards b/c the seat rotates as you move along the track....

I asked this question on another thread as well, curious if a layout can be speculated with all the footers poured to date? Are they compact like a 4D or do they form an "L" shape?
I think we may be looking at an Auquatrx and mega looper, or Auquatrx and 4D.
Well, I can see that a turnaround of some kind will be above the Swan Boat pond there.
By the looks of it, it will come from high up and do a fancy turn over the water, with some quick direction changes.
Everything else looks like crazy stupid, in other words, I have no idea...

To those that have sent me PM's asking that I tell them what I saw over at CB: Sorry, but I don't want to be responsible for causing any problems whatsoever between CP and PB/CB by saying anything - if, in fact, what I read was accurate.
Having said that, I know very, VERY little in the grand scheme of things. The info I got was general, at best, so its not like I know the specifics of the ride or anything. Its also quite possible that I know nothing, and that the post in question was totally incorrect. Although, the post having been deleted (and considering who made the post) leads me to believe otherwise.
Besides, everyone (including) me will know everything soon enough, by the looks of things. :)

On most of the sites people are still talking some sort of dueler because there are supports running side-by-side in some areas of the constructiuon site, if this footer placement is true, could we be possibly looking at something like this????

IMO, all of the Intamin suspended coasters are quite ugly. It just seems that there are way too many useless (well, not really useless, but you see me point) supports everywhere.

there aren't any fottings that indicate multiple tracks at all. the footings in the swan pond are like most corner footings that require dual supports. "Y" supports if you will.
Or an upsidedown 'V', or an 'A'...

It speaks for itself... I guess... Sorry if it breaks the rules, but at this point it doesn't really matter, atleast for something like this...
E: I forgot to mention, From the way they built part of Atlantis Adventure(the turn outside the castle) I think the track could be built over the Midway, or the Train, without the supports going everywhere.

It's still early, and I know I haven't posted lately, but I know there are still footers being planted, so this could be a traditional lift hill coaster so they could be going with a B&M style track. Although I still see signs of it being a water coaster with the way that there is a turn going over the swan pond.
