And just how many people do you think care about the size of a roller coaster seat? Bringing up a change only draws attention to an issue that matters to a very small amount of people.
There will be no announcement, in my opinion. And probably no change, either.

It was enough of an issue to be in the newspapers not to mention on the news here in the Detroit area. That small amount of people, as well as their friends and family, do/did bring money into the park.

Hey, I understand that point of view. I read that here, on PointBuzz. I never saw it in the papers here or on the news.
And frankly, what I see in the papers and on the news today scares me a whole lot more than the size of a coaster seat.
It's a big deal for some, but not most people.

I believe there will be a change this off-season. This is just my opinion so pleas don't call me a dumba**. I think we'll see new things this next season. Maybe they'll extend the belt a little more, or make these seats deeper like this thread keeps talking about. I think though Cedar Point will do something just because they know a lot of people were upset and want people to continue to ride and come to the park.
I'm sure when ACE holds it's annual winter meeting next week that Cedar Point will be in attendance, and they won't get out the door without addressing the situation, trust me. Then we'll know for sure, kids.

I think the Green train should get the best seats.

At the regional ACE christmas party at Castaway Bay in december I asked Janice Witherow about the new seats and she said she hasnt heard anything of the sort, but that it could be happening but she hasn heard anything about it if they were.

What green train? There's only red, blue, and yellow.

I've been wondering if CP would ever dig it out. 5 years and they might finally try to dig it out of Sandusky Bay, good job CP. Isn't it true that the green train ran the track faster than the other three, something like 96mph.

Well duh it ran faster. That's what caused it to fly off the track and plunge into Sandusky Bay. ;)

You give people in Lincoln Park a bad name by not knowing this. I as a former Lincoln Park resident do know this and would like to say that not all residents are as clueless as that.

Listen, I dont know what this is about and so what. I don't exactly talk on here alot so I don't know alot of the things you guys talk about. Because if it's something I SHOULD know then why don't somebody just fill me in on the details so I'm not as clueless. Ive only been on Point buzz for 1 1/2 years so I don't know alot. *** Edited 1/10/2005 4:13:00 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

That's funny I never saw a green train when the ride was being tested for the first time? How come they never took pictures of it?
The funny part that you are missing is that there is NO GREEN TRAIN (on MF)!
