I'm not trying to start a rumor or anything, but when we were at Cedar Point (10.31.2004) one of the supervisors said they'd be getting TTD seats on the MF trains. I think this is a good idea, because it gives bigger riders the extra few inches they need to buckle up and ride.
Tell me your thoughts.

I hope this rumor is true. Cause when I went to CP one month ago, I could ride TTD but not MF. I was ok with it, (Cause I have rode it before) but then a family member of mine tried the test seat and no go for him either. (he was also able to ride TTD) He was really bummed out cause he wanted to ride every roller coaster at least once, on his first trip to CP.
The old west was never that wild. I had the last ride on Maverick!!!
it would have the seats...but the headrests are for the launch on TTD.

This would be the new seat style.
She coulda told the person at the entrance she already rode it that day to get by them. The belts on the trains seem longer then the one on the test seat. My friend couldn't get the test seat to buckle but can on the train. But that really doesn't matter now. I hope they do this change it'd be really great.
Those seats on Goliath have no headrest. I think it would be very unconfortable going up MF's lift without them. Thunder Dolphin in Japan doesn't have them and its lift is just a little steeper than MF's. If I'm not mistaken MF is or was the only Intamin hyper with headrest.

The test seat seatbelt is MUCH shorter then most of the belts. I mean I couldn't fit in the test seat, and I got on and I fit fine with 2in of slack.

I like the seats, I think they're fine the way they are, but they need to reconfigure the seat belts. I'm very thin but when I got into the seat last year, I swear the belt just made it by a few inches. My waist size is only 32-33. So I just think if they play around with the belts a little more maybe they can pass a new law allowing people to fit in, but if your waist it above 40 or something like that, than you cant ride. That's my opionion. I like the new seat idea only if they still keep the Stadium style like they have now when it first opened.
