The beach is outside the park.

Plus guests and Screamsters on the sand when they are going to be making quick movements just isn't safe at all.

Not to mention the beach you'd be bringing home in your boots after running around out there for 4 hours.

It wouldn't be any colder than waiting in line for Happy Jack's under Disaster Transport.

Potential 30 degree temperatures with freezing rain and wind is much colder then an air conditioning.

Yeah it's the rain and wind that really get to you. Even last year if it rained but wasn't windy I was fine, but both together was just painful.

Edit: Looks like Millenium Force is casting a shadow on the grass.

Actually I think that's Maverick, which would fit with their earlier posts about it being in Frontier Town.

Are there decent sections of grass where Maverick would cast shadows?

I actually think it is by Millenium's overbank. I cant see it going in Maverick. i wouldn't want it there either... Well if the pirate theming will be there year round like it was in Adventure Island.

I too thought it was Millenium's overbank infield, but then I noticed the thickness of the tree shadows. This might indicate pine trees, which are much more abundant in Maverick's infield rather than Millenium's overbank infield (see aerial photo http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=qxdrpf8380cd&lvl=19.51&dir=355.97&...orm=LMLTCC )

It's deffently an Intamin, I'd say Maverick cause it's supposed to go in Frontier Town.

If its going around Maverick, then that's gonna be awesome to ride at night with the fog.

The area that could be used while the ride is running is actually pretty large. There are already pathways/roads that are used all summer long to access Wave Swinger, Thunder Canyon and The Asylum while Maverick is running. This area would actually be perfect for a new Zone.

It's the Infirmary now Chris, don't you remember LOL. But yeah there is plenty of room in that area. And this is going to be an interesting Halloweekends this year!

Nobody's mentioned it yet, so here's another giant Intamin coaster's infield that has a few trees in it, and is lacking in low-zones.

Weird, that shot looks like they have the cable drum sitting in the midway.

^^That's exactly what I thought, Maniaman. While Dragster's infield isn't exactly in Frontier Town, that picture screamed Dragster to me.
