Six Flags with some mind blowing announcements!
Come on Cedar Point! ;)
When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835
New for 2015 mean streak is replaced by magnum force. Worlds first wooden giga coaster. Heard it from a seagull.
Jason McClure favorited this tweet, probably means nothing...
@TonyClarkCP @JasonMcClureCP All these new coaster announcements today sure hope @cedarpoint is saving the best for last! #CP2015
Yeah, Cedar Point is getting a new ride (we already knew that) that should be a high thrill ride (again, knew that).
In other news, woodies at SFMM (Colossus) and SFNE (Cyclone) are getting the Rocky Mountain treatment, so that's probably out if it ever was an option as the company isn't all that large.
In fact, all known or rumored 2015 coaster projects have been accounted for, and there were few, if any, surprises.

I really like the one at SFMM.. it just looks like pure fun.
Just saw the animation for twisted colossus wow just incredible ! Hopefully we here something soon for cedar point
I know! I don't mean to get my (or anyone else's) hopes up, but just imagine if Mean Streak got something like this...I think I'm in the early stages of wish-listing. On the other hand, MS is one the speculated rides, at least that I've been seeing.

Maybe for a year or two down the road, but almost certainly not next year. RM has yet to do more than 2 in a year and they aren't really large enough to do more than that. I could see CP going above and beyond to create the first roller coaster with more than 14 inversions out of it because, well, they're Cedar Point.
Well I'm not going to get in the announcement date speculation, but I will ask this. I know you guys say this would never happen with Mantis as far as Floorless conversion, but as far as the colors go, what color scheme would work best? To me It looks like they are going with Green, keeping the purple, and maybe another color.
It looks like green. It seems kind of stupid to paint a little section green and leave the rest the old color.

I mean.. it does fit the whole "Mantis" thing a little more than red, purple, and yellow... but then again they might change the name too.. but thats just wild speculation at this point
That was also another theory I came up with. Green is the color of a mantis.

SFMM's Twisted Colossus looks sweet and so does SFFT Batmam the ride. Id love to see Cedar Point get an S&S 4D coaster and do a Rocky Mountain Construction hybrid job to Mean Streak or tear it down and replace it with a better coaster. I might have to make a trip out to Six Flags Magic Mountain next year to see if they have a better coaster lineup. I don't know if any of you are as impatient as me but this waiting around for an announcement is pissing me off after seeing all of these other parks announcing and getting some cool new rides and coasters. Tony and Jason you got a lot of Cedar Point fans hyped up so don't disappoint.

Assuming they'll actually run it as such, it will be the only racing coaster with inversions. Cedar Point is lagging behind. I don't like it.

So, what causes the issue where it shows the thread as having less pages than it really does?
When a mass of posts are deleted it confuses the system.
