I am thinking that the current Blue streak cam shot is in fact a hint...I think the work that may take place by the pavilions will be prep work for future development of that very nice space.
I'm 99% sure you're correct on BOTH of these statements, especially the 2nd one. I can see a big structure there. Somethings telling me that 3 members' ideas (mine,MF,&Tt4L all put together) on this forum might have solved the new ride for next year. Remember I said I remember hearing Brian Edwards talking about Rob Decker (VP of planning/design) now receiving "his next big challenge" (at the PB off-season tour March 13') right AFTER Gatekeeper was about finished? I think that's what you're going to see next year in 2015.
If he pulls off what I think (also hoping) is going to happen, most people are going to be very surprised & thrilled with the announcement. Heck, I'll even buy him a beer.

I would have to say this would make sense. It also ties into "..But we're not telling the whole story." They revitalized the east side of the entrance, now it's time for the west side.
They should DEFINITELY move the entrance of the raptor to the blue streak midway. They could definitely spruce that area up (since the only thing in that entire area is calypso and turnpike cars. They should definitely add a new flat ride in that area to make that area a lot more popular. A lot of times I don't want to walk all the way over there just to go on the blue streak. But if there was more stuff over there and more landscape etc that would bring more people over. Chickie and Pete's spent 0 money on fixing up the interior from Game Day, so I'm not sure why they'd spend the money for bathrooms and outdoor seating.
Updated prediction: blue streak overhaul with raptor entrance changed over to the blue streak midway. New flat ride also located in the BSM. A lot of new landscaping, seating etc. they'll repaint the mantis and rename it Rougarou. Kind of iffy on them changing over to floorless because the track isn't meant for it. They'd have to alter it for sure and I don't think they want to do anything to that extent. Lastly, mean streak could get a small splash of color in cavs colors and have it be renamed King James until they decide to take it down in a couple years.

Do they show teasers on fun tv? Because I thought i saw it on there but I'm not sure
Unless they wait tip the season is over. I wouldn't mind if they got rid of it but the one thing I do like about Fear Fair is that at the times when the fog machines are on you really cannot see that far ahead of you because the fog is all trapped with no where to really move. But it hasn't been like that in a few years not sure why.
Also, any one else laugh at Tony's most recent tweet? Its for sure going to get quite a few people talking.
"This may or may not be a 2016 planning meeting. Too soon?" -@TonyClarkCP
How about this thought. The project on that side of the park will be spread out over 2 years. 2015 will be a dark ride on the pavilion area, demolition of the pirate ride building, the BS and Raptor entrances relocated, and a new flat or observation tower on the PR building area. Throw in some work on Mantis, and a relocation of the new restaurant. (maybe they planned that due to the unfixed bathroom issue).
2016 will be a new wooden coaster taking up the space currently held by Calypso, Turnpike Cars, Goodtime Theater, and the Cedars hotel. The midway would be extended all the way through, new landscaping and seating, maybe a restaurant, etc.
Interesting artcile....

Interesting article with some stupid comments. Such as "However, they painted themselves into a corner because as you get higher, it gets more expensive," Ulozas said. Six Flags does not release how much it spends on building rides.". Really? Six Flags does not realize how much it spends to build a ride? I guess they just shovel out the money, trusting the ride manufacturer to tell them when to stop.
