Is it possible to actually bring BACK the Pirate Ride? Are the props and vehicles still in storage and can the building be converted back? That would be a surprise of a lifetime!

No. While some of the figures were used as props on other attractions, most of the original ride was scrapped. Also, the park had problems over the years with people not staying in the ride vehicles. Most notably teenagers jumping out during the ride and vandalizing the props.

It would classify as fairly major. Especially if as someone else had mentioned they integrate the two parks as one, make it a package deal etc... Aren't most of the other water parks in the CF family free with admission to their adjacent amusement parks?

Wow I really hope this isn't a water park expansion.

Yes, but no other parks have the resorts that CP does, so they can't market it as a separate attraction.

SC will not be combined with CP next year. Unless the company has decided they want to make a lot less money.

Ok Live web cams have moved, de-bunked any of the above!! Now facing the main midway and a snow-cone booth....

Does Soak City on it's own really drive visitors or is it more of a bonus/change of pace for longer visits..

the live cams arent pointing to anything special besides the top chill snow cones. Is this a Lemon Chill Guy reference?

SV ruins all other rides.

Good question... I would assume its more of a "add-on" than a destination on its own. It is a nice park with some good slides, but we have only been there once personally. We go to other waterparks quite often, but Soak City never really appeals to us when we go to CP.

I was thinking the same thing Cedar Point GCI.

And would they potentially see more revenue within the waterpark by adding it to the admission of CP? Would more people say 'Hey I'll go check it out, why not' If it's included in the ticket price?

They are pointing the camera at the top thrill snow cone stand. All along it was the snow cone guy and not the lemon chill guy!

I should preface all this by saying I don't know attendance numbers or financials just random observations from afar, just a different idea to throw out there

They are really having fun with us! They be like" hey watch this!" Now they are rolling on the floor. I hope the anouncement is a Rick roll!

Tony if you are reading this... zoom in on the snow cone stand.

Almost certainly not, because they'd lose all that admission revenue. And anecdotally, the park is often quite busy, weather-permitting.

note. they are aimed totally away from Mean streak and Mantis. Just saying.

To anybody with a Platinum Pass, myself included, the separate admission to SC is irrelevant.

I have a Platinum Pass and I still don't go to SC. I live about 4 hrs away so when I do go to CP, we're there for the rides. I'd imagine if I lived closer and went more, I'd go. So if it is a SC expansion, I would be disappointed I must say.

Top 5: (1) Superman the Ride (2) Millennium Force (3) Maverick (4) Leviathan (5) Diamondback

It would be nice to see improvements to SC. I wouldn't pay extra to go there as MA's water park is twice as good as SC.
