New for 2014

I just thought of something. Does anyone think that it might be possible the new ride going into part of the Gemini games area? I've noticed all season that they have the doors shut on the games area so this makes me think maybe they'll be adding something in that area.

We've noticed the Gemini games being closed more this season as well. Perhaps they will use that midway to expand/enhance Camp Snoopy, maybe using some of the ideas from the "Point Snoopy" version of the area that was apparently in the works along with a new dark ride and/or family coaster.

I said this before but I don't think it's going to be a kiddie land expansion or they would've made sure at least one member of the family announcing it could participate in it.

I'm pretty darn curious what it will be. I had my hopes up for a dark ride of some sorts. But the rumor mill at Screamscape thinks it won't be CP but CW getting it for 2014. There hasn't been any leaked rumors, copyright info, blueprints or other info so most likely nothing major (as others have said.)

As much as I want my golden goose, I would be happy for a fresh coat of paint on TTD and Raptor. What would you all happy to "settle with?"

I can't imagine they would have a family come shoot a video about a couple rides getting a fresh paint job. It has to something at least somewhat big, enough to prompt an announcement video.

With that being said, I would be happy with new trains on Mantis. At least that would give us one more ride-able coaster!

Mantis is very ride-able, I like the stand-up trains. That's what makes Mantis unique and I like that it is an intense ride.

^Rumor is Canada's Wonderland because Wonder Mountain is getting some work done and it is believed it may be there.

But in all seriousness, teasers get me excited to what will come. But I'm tempering any expectations (hence me "willing to settle.")

You're right, I know a lot of people do like it. I guess I meant for myself personally, as it is one ride that I avoid at CP.

I hate how Cedar Point always does their teasers and announcements during the first couple weeks I'm back in school. I can't follow it as much as I would like :(

What if the are doing a large Soak city expansion? They could add a giant funnel slide and the tallest slide complex in Ohio. Any possibly they move what's left of geauga Lake to soak city? Wildwater kingdom is closed after next weekend.They have been selling off the land over there and the all the rest of their stand alone waterparks.

^ This was actually my thought as well. They have that old circular campground they could expand into, north of the wave pool. Just added one slide complex last year, could really use some additional modern amentities

Hey now. Every time I camp in that old circular camping area if is full. Maybe not on the days i'm not there, but still. I enjoy camping there. Don't tear that down. The waterpark could use an expansion though. They can go out onto the beach as much as they want.

Tony, is this something similar to a Rorschach test where what we see reveals alot about us, the park guests? I don't think I'm going to make a guess without consulting legal counsel now as it may incriminate me in the future.
