Wow has anyone seen today's update? This is what I've been waiting for!! Seems like they have a lot of paving of the midway to do and more concrete to repair the midway. Doesn't it seem strange that in one picture we see cars parked next to Antique cars? Usually when I look at a picture like that there is people walking in front of it. My question is will they paint the Shed they built for Skyhawks Air drums or whatever those are called?
I'm not sure about the PAYG MrScott, but I do agre that the freeway won't be back anytime soon, if at all.

Why did they get rid of Freeway by the way? I thought it was cool, but maybe people were complaining about it. It's goiing to be weird though not seeing a huge line in front of Millennium Force, or Magnum for a Freeway stamp. I always waited in line like everyone else because I never was in a hurry or anything, I just wanted to ride. Anyway whats new with Skyhawk? I won't be able to look at the webcam or post on here like I used to to because of my recent moving.
Hopefully a system such as the one at Disney is put in. It was great when i was there. Just swipe your ticket or season pass in the machine and a print out of a ticket with what time you should come back would be printed on it. This would allow for more times to be able to get on fast then what the Freeway was offering.

GOOD GOD. Just saw the streaming vid of SkyHawk; what an intimidating ride it is...I will have to watch it for a long, loooooooooong time before riding that puppy. LOL Getting to that age, you know...LOL not as young as I used to be.
I MISS CEDAR POINT! Live in Texas now, haven't been there in what, seven, eight years? THAT'S TOO LONG! Last time I went was when Power Tower was new. THAT is an AWESOME ride.
Have yet to ride Millennium Force...don't know about Top Thrill Dragster...there are record breaking rides (like Millennium) and then there is INSANITY. LOL
Thanks for letting me log on and read y'all's words; I will, as they say, be back. :)
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
According to the blogs, sometime in march.

I wouldn't look for testing until the snow is gone and concrete is under the ride itself. T & T have said a few times that testing will begin in March. I'd take their word for it and just wait.
Last year at this time, maXair wasn't even built yet. Feb. 16 was the date when they started that ride.

Well, I kind of intend it to be a joke Grovite18, but I'm thinking this. maXair construction starts early because it's easy and quick to assemble. Skyhawk is easy to assemble as well but is started early to get as much of it's construction out of the way so they can start eary (like April) on the 07 ride. Why else (besides weather) would they want to get WWL out and SH in soo soon? I mean it's obvious that they took WWL out for the new ride, but why soo early and not, say now or back in Janurary?
Again, I'm not all serious about this....just a thought.
