One thing I wish Cedar Point did do was to have different roller coasters pass by each other (could you imagine a flying roller coaster [safely] going over Millennium Force?!), kind of like Hershey Park with some of their coasters. Not to mention, Soak City has that giant parking lot in the back that I never see full, a roller coaster could easily by built over it.

I just wanted to say welcome to Pointbuzz buddy. I like your idea of having coasters go through each other. That would be neat! Maybe another coaster could be squeezed in on the left side of Magnum.
^That didn't make any sense at all.
Pepsi Refresh is saving one coaster at a time: http://pep.si/bTTsfc

world of fun is getting the snoopy area for kids and the adults are getting a tower ride so no star flyer for cedar point this year maybe next yearYep I am making some eggs for breakfast so that implies Cedar Point isn't get a star flyer this year maybe next year.
Same exact effect as what you did.
i meant to say that i know for a fact that cedar point is not getting a star flyer i know there were only two rides on the beach in cedar point history a switchback railway coaster and a three way figure 8 roller coaster and the construction markings on the beach near ocean motion have been there since April before the park opened to the public the ride was not going to be open this year but they failed to sale it last year i know cause i work for cedar point and that's all i can say at this time
If i am wrong tell me
I am not prefect neither is anyone else

So could we be seeing a POSSIBLE coaster out to the beach? Is there enough room, and even still if they needed some extra room can't they put dirt and rocks out just a bit into the lake, or is that not possible. No need to build into the lake. If they use the land that is currently used for the Coral Courtyard, Oceana Stadium and maybe the Giant Wheel (moving it to DD's old space) there is enough land for a wooden coaster.
There is plenty of room, for comparison, here is a photo I put together a while ago. It is the old Vilian from GL in the area in question (at the time, I was wanting them to relocate the ride- shattered dreams). I attempted to make the 2 images to scale, so it shows you can get a pretty big ride in the area. I still think Vilian would have been awsome in that area, so I am hoping for something similar.

Seems to me CP has plenty of room to build some decent size rides. There is always the option of over/under existing rides, still a good chunk of tree filled areas around Frontier Trail for future rides, and the whole employee parking lot by DT to consider. Move employee parking over to the overflow area next to the bay, do some landscaping, and remove the picnic area on that side of the gate, bingo, plenty of room. Although I'm not an amusement park design guy, I just sell auto parts for a living :). Just tossing ideas into the mix for future years expansion.
