New construction markings.

Was there a line for Ocean Motion since everyone this is the final season for the ride?

Ocean Motion had a line out to the beach gate on Sunday, but almost every ride had overflowing queues that day.

Would a sign be worth it, though?

First of all, traffic back that way is minimal, so would you put the sign somewhere else? If so, where?

Secondly, it's a giant tower in the front of the park, as opposed to, say, a relatively short water ride tucked in the back behind some trees. I doubt anyone will have trouble finding WindSeeker next season whether or not they have a sign indicating its pending arrival.

I was at CP Friday, Saturday and Monday and never saw a line that was longer than the normal line for Ocean Motion.

I did not see any new markings or a sign.

Anything new this weekend? A sign or stat cards being handed out at the tolls perhaps? :)

The only thing I saw at the park this weekend about WindSeeker were a couple of ad's on the dragster for 2011 platinum passes showed WindSeeker in the bottom corner as the new ride.

In the season pass office I picked up a Stat card. But I didn't see them anywhere else.

If you get a park map at the parking toll booths it has a tiny section mentioning WS. Not anything special, though.

I wonder if they will post some de-construction pics of ocean motion?

I'd like to see a web cam up there, from deconstruction all the way through opening day.

If only the park had someone like Tony that we could suggest that to.

This ship hasn't sunk yet! I say look for her to find in safe harbor at the front gate come May 2011. Chaos however, will have a place in the CP Graveyard during Halloweekends.

I really hope you're right. After riding Sunday, I forgot it was kind of a fun ride.

And it appears that Ocean Motion's boat is already off the ride, as the crane is holding one of swing arms for the ride.

Now, if we can just get them to swing the Dragster Cam to the left a little. :) (Two views!)

It seems that the cam has froze up. I have had the same shot for 24 hours now.
