It seems to update for me. I mean, the tress are moving. :)
Look's like the beach gate is history.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
@cedarpoint You should nudge the Dragster Cam a little to the left so we can see #WindSeeker change the famous Cedar Point skyline. ;-)
@dougary we are looking at nudging the cam, problem is we need to find a really tall ladder :)
This wasn't me but I thought I would share!

I think the gate will be back next year, just out closer to/on the beach more. Remember the construction markers on the beach this summer?
That gate was always buisy in the morning.

Looking at the animation there is no room between windseekers platforn and the stadium for a gate. where else would there be room for a gate Wicked Twister goes behind the stadium and there no room between WT and DT unless they move Troika. The only other option is going up past Windseeker the the picnic area is by the convention center. looks like the Breakers gate might be the only way to get to the beach now. The if the animation is any evidence there will be no gate.

I was at fright feast a couple weeks ago and talked to an employee about the gate. He said they are moving it towards Coral Courtyard. I don't remember the man's name but, he was a management type.
I find it unlikely that the Resort Gate wouldn't return. The gate is used quite frequently for groups making use of the Coral Courtyard facilities. Having to utilize the Soak City gate for this purpose would almost seem obnoxious, considering how close the Resort Gate used to be to this area.

I suspect the beach gate will be relocated approximately in Ocean Motion's location, while WindSeeker will be located around where the parasail building was. I could also see the gate being rotated 90 degrees so that it faces straight down the boardwalk, but that's just a guess.
When talking to the CP employee I mentioned above, I got the impression the gate would be rotated 90 degress as Ralph said. I understood it as the boardwalk would lead straight into the gate with Windseeker just inside. We'll eventually see if I heard him right.
The gate may be put next to the Coral Dining Room. That is where it was many years ago. There is a path that goes past the Coral Dining Room and Convention Center that I think dead ends at a fence. The gate used to be where that fence is.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
The Ariel pic Cedar Point posted on twitter http://twitpic.com/367d1k shows a single dozer up farther along the beach on the other side of the coral courtyard this seems a plausible location for a new gate

I keep hearing about this Coral Courtyard, but I have never been in it. What exactly is it?
Let's Get Weird.
The Coral Courtyard (the large white tents in the picture mentioned above) is one of outdoor catering venues at the park. This is where large groups can have catered meals. During HalloWeekends the park offers the Fright Feast all-you-can-eat meal here.
I assume part of the WindSeeker project will be arranging the park gate to better accommodate the large number of guests flowing through at meal times.

Having the Coral Courtyard inside the gates would be wonderful and I'm sure the people working the gates would appreciate it too.

I wonder how this will change the coral courtyard?

I'd imagine the Coral Courtyard will largely stay the same, perhaps with some upgrades to the facilities to improve guest flow and whatnot. While it would make some sense to "move" the venue inside the park (mostly so that large groups wouldn't have to overwhelm the gate at meal times) I'd imagine they want to keep it outside the park to allow groups to attend events there without require all guests to purchase park admission

How often (if ever) do they do that?
