I dont think that a 500 foot coaster would be bad. It would probably be one of the last coasters in the "coaster wars" because after about 300 feet the price gets rediculus to build a real coaster that has a lift hill and not a hydralic launch system coaster that ends in 20 seconds.
Also my suggestion for the markings being early construction for the 07 coaster isnt that its the whole thing(seeing as the markings are in a small area). The markings are just simply the queue entrance and not the whole thing. The station could be out on the MF island, the
queue could start next to the Cedar Creek Mine Ride, and cross over the water to the island.
My guess (thanks to my bro-in-laws observations) is that they are just updating the restrooms with hot-water (well warm water) lines.
This makes the most sense, to me, since the past few seasons we see another restroom updated.
Speaking of wate.....r anyone else notice the drinking fountain on the games wall immediately to the left of the Johnny Rockets outdoor patio? Odd place for one if you ask me. But, at least it is one.

Why would they put in new lines for warm water, when they could just add a water heater in the restroom?
This Imo is more than just an upgrade for the bathrooms, but it may not be for a coaster eather. There are also marks in some parts of the park where there is no bathrooms.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Frontiertown could definately use another restroom, like maybe by the Cadilac Cars and Cedar Creek Mine Ride.
Anyway not to change the subject or anything, but I went to Cedar Point yesterday and only saw the one marking by Snake River Falls. It looked as if they were doing some diggin where that one marking is. Now as far as the markings over by Cedar Creek Mine ride, there wasn't anything I saw that had me jumping up and down. It looked as if the grass had just been mowed. Nothing to really get excited about from my point of view.
Hot water back there would be great. Washing makeup off your face with cold water on a night with temps in the 40's is an interesting experience. Although I'm already getting excited about doing it again. :) *** Edited 8/6/2005 5:44:57 AM UTC by Ralph Wiggum***

You sound like you know about the Plans here.
It was announced a long time ago that Patriot is going to "Worlds of Fun"

It hasn't ever been officially announced yet as far as I know. Someone just went to B&M's headquarters where they had stupidly left track sitting out with a shipping label on it.

It wasn't B&M headquarters, but a state-side track manufacturer. I wonder what kind of confidentiality contract they sign and if they get penalized for just leve track lying about like that.

Just leaving track lying around like that? You mean on their PRIVATE PROPERTY where people are technically trespassing if they go to take pictures?
I think they're in the clear.

The first thing that came to my mind was trespassing, but that's just a guess.
It's kind of sad, actually, to what lengths enthusiasts will go to now to figure out a new ride. Yeah, it's exciting to know what a park is getting. But tresspassing and ruining the surprise doesn't make the ride operational any earlier.
