No no no... those are tensil inhibitors. The fence was streching out there and they put those on until they have time to fix it. ;)

They dont look loke anything big. They started construction construction for TTD a season before it opened, so maybe if their building a bigger coaster they will have to start earlier. Id say that if they were building a new "big" coaster for '07 I would start looking for track right after the end of the season, or earlier.
Well, if its true that 2006 will be another dry year as far as coasters go, it may start to effect park attendance.....athough it may already have.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Looks like they're ready to start talking about it.
And it also looks like my trick question didn't work. :)
I was wondering if that was you. I'm kinda suprised they bothered posting it at all. Its a good post for them to start stirring up some excitement towards next years improvements (whether those improvements actually involve a ride remains to be seen).

Ha, ha! Better luck next time, Walt.

I say they're bringing back Lemon Chill with a bang. ;)
You might be right glwwk46. I doubt the markings next to the old Town Hall mean anything though because that would be way too close to the building to put a support. You'll know what I'm talking about since Pointbuzz today just posted 2006 watch.
The markings are just there to mark where water, electric, gas, etc. lines are. It doesn't mean they're going slap a support right in that spot. Looking back to last year's markings for maXair I found this picture. The mark isn't even where maXair is located but they still marked it. (The mark is in the center of the picture.)
Note: Looking back at that picture, I might be wrong to say that spot is an actual mark.

Wait Walt you knew about maXair didn't you? Before it was announced right? Because how would you know that area would be a new ride?
(sigh) Same game, different year.
There's a difference between knowing something, being told something, and figuring something out on your own.
There is going to be something done in FT. But what that is.......... I have no clue.

101 on Magnum and counting...
Wow, i'd already forgotten what that place looked like with all the trees. Really nice place to sit and wait for a table at Johnny Rockets...

When I wrote that I was thinking back in 2003 speculation, I believe someone suggested that about Dragster, or had it in their signature or something.
Anyway, this is starting to get exciting. There's nothing better than speculating what a new ride could be. Well, okay, there's a lot of things better. Either way, when I'm there next weekend I'll have to do a little detective work.
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
I think with them setting up Halloweekends over the next 3 days expect them to be doing a lot of work on Top Thrill Dragster as well. You can also expect them to maybe start doing some digging for the possible new ride that could be going in Frontiertown. Remember 2003 when it was towards the end of the year? HINT HINT.
