I would just like to apologize to Exit and everyone else on PointBuzz for the way i had acted earlier today.

I was stressed out becuase i had just found out that someone i care for alot was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. I was a ticking time bomb ready to explode and for some reason Exit's respond just set me off.

Now that i look back at what i had posted that joke is very stupid, LOL!

Again I am sorry for the way i acted and hope ya'll will forgive me.

BTW, the only thing i really meant from what i had posted, not about Exit necissarily but about many other members, is the extensive bashing that goes on on these boards. I'm not new just don't post often and when i read the bashing i just don't understand why people have to be so mean to new members, instead why not just inform them in a nice way of what they have done wrong.

Well thats all folks, again I'm Sorry.

Don't apologise for your jokes. If you think it's funny then who cares what anyone else thinks...

Im not sure why your apoligising. Dont give in to people on internet forums. And just for the record, I thought it was funny.

its not that im "giving in" im sorry for the way i acted, it was completely wrong. So what if its an internet forum I was wrong and im admitting it, im doing the right thing.

Bravo! *claps hands*

Just because it's the Internet doesn't mean that people don't have to take responsibily for their actions. It's not like you could steal $5,000,000 illegally by online wire transfer and just get away with it...

Ok to put this topic back on track once and for all, here is some pretty sure insight on the design of this coaster. If the progression of the height in these supports doesent suggest launch, then i dont know what does...

With that wide straight path of footers behind the WWL station, it almost makes me wonder if there could possibly be two side by side sets of launches which end up into the same circuit by use of some sort of switch track. One launch is launching while the other is resetting. Thus allowing for increased capacity. Possible?

What are the caps/plugs that all the supports seem to have? Is this for filling the supports with sand or something?

I never noticed these on the other Intamin coaster supports at CP.

^That is the general concensus. I thought that may be one of the ways they will keep frontier town quiet.

I never thought sound from the supports was a major issue, maybe except the rattling side walkways on corkscrew, but maybe the forces due to twists on this coaster might be an issue and the sand would indeed help more.

I just thought it was different that every support so far has such a distinct opening for this reason or any.

And here I was thinking that declining footers just meant some kind of hill..

woe is me.

i thought the different leveled footers would be a launch or downward brake... but i guess the supports would be different sizes not the footers.

Am I the only one who thinks that those declining supports could be a brake run? Look at the downward sloped brake runs on MF, TTD, and practically any other magnetically braked Intamin.

Sure, it could be a launch... I totally see where you're seeing that, and I agree. But let's not discount everything else and say it's the launch for sure.

I would love if it would be somthing like X-Flight at Six Flags/Geagua Lakes.

Cedar Point Junkie.
MF - 20, Magnum - 10, TTD - 3

Has anyone figured out if and how the old WWL station fits into all this?

Looking at the pic Steve4Hockey posted I would agree that the gradual incline/decline (depending on your persepective) looks like either a launch section or a brake section.

One thing to take into account is that those two taller supports to the right of the picture appear to be in line with the smaller supports. This means that the ride will be braking from a decent height or that it will be launching initially into some sort of elevated element.

My guess at this point is a launch with some sort of twisting hill that would turn left and then traverse the swan boat pond before returning to land and the rest of the layout. This of couse goes out the window if those two taller supports are not in the line that I am visualizing. *** Edited 7/24/2006 2:40:37 AM UTC by LoganB***

gravity thats what i meant by downward brak. my mind drew a blank and i could not think of brake run.

Actually, im not so sure Millenium's brake run is downward sloping.

And if it is, its not by much. Certainly not like the run that we see being put in. TTD is the exception to this rule, but only because each side of the ride is symmetrical. This is of course because the launch track needs to be sloped for rollbacks and the brake run is sloped down only because it needs to get back to the level of the station. They just sloped it over the course of the run rather than adding a slight downward hill to make up the elevation difference.
