If this coaster is a lift then where are the straight pieces? And if it is a launch same question.
Like someone said, 2 rail track is now in the staging area. And its straight.

but 2-rail track wouldn't be for a lift or launch (at least i wouldn't think it would be!).
if you look at colossus though, they use 2-rail outside of the station, so it could be for anywhere.
has anyone else seen that red "grid" piece in the staging area? any ideas as to what it is??
Possibly part of a track flipper for a dual loading station?

I believe it is just some stair piece for something like a transfer section.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

lol post of the year indeed.:)
::talking as a differnt person:: You know, Im glad I havnt posted anything on my thoughts about what the ride might be.....I dont know why. I guess to save some of the regulars on here from losing brain cells, seeing that I dont know what the ride will be.
::normal self:: Now why cant we here that from some people? This thread might be cleaner if more people said that and didnt post topics about silly things.;)

I'm going to say a 310 foot hyper coaster, but I think CP will call it something like a giga coaster or something. Sounds fun!

i don't think its a stair. it appears to be all in one plane, ie: there's no "stringer" or "rise" to that part which would make it stairs.
who's going to volunteer to run over and take closer pics of that part?? :)
I'd come and do it too, if I didn't have to work tomorrow. Oh well I'm going sometime next week with my film camera to take pictures. I don't have my digital anymore because it sucked and died on me.
Wait i want to know somwthing. How can you tell how high or not high something is when there is only a few supports in the ground? Couldn't you post this in another thread to tell us this. I find no way you giving insight to us, and I think you are gving your opinion.
Every post about 2007 has been an opinion.
I have yet to read a thread by anyone that has actually given any insight.

The space between footers can sometimes give hints to how tall a certain portion of the layout will be, the supports that look like this */I* (You get what I mean right?) Depending on how far the footers are apart, you can tell how tall it will be. I guess;)

Well I just got home to read all the replys and WOW I thought I would make a little prediction on all the pics and layout shots available and to my amazment I didnt realize that it would cause soo much comotion among the point fans out there and such sarcasim. all i got to say is the sarcastic remarks are just plain not needed. Its about the FUN of it boys and girls, not whos right or wrong. I guess next time i will think twice before trying to make a post about the things that keep the excitement of "not knowing" and dreaming a little and try not to cause such a outburst of negativity. The sole purpose is to see what everyone is Dreamin up about the new coaster to have fun with this. after all, isnt that what rollercoasters is all about. Sorry for any disappointment, it was an idea. Chill people its about the Fun of it all, or has that all been forgotten or lost among the sarcasim? There is one very interesting piece of track I got a picture of today that's in the staging area.... It's two rail, but has an interesting piece attached to the one side of it.

everyone is all for "educated" guesses as to what the ride is going to be. but spewing out garbage guesses as to a "dream" ride is just diarrhea of the mouth (or fingers in this case). way back before we had ANY idea of what the ride might be, that would've been acceptable. but now its just a waste of everyone's time and brain power since there is EVIDENCE that eliminates a ton of ideas.
doug you rule man!! i've been dying to see an up-close pic of that track piece. i don't think i've EVER seen something like that.
edit: did you see there's ANOTHER one in the background too???? WTF is going on?? :) *** Edited 7/20/2006 2:52:20 AM UTC by halltd***
I didn't ask what you thought about my idea I asked... whats yours? You people seem to love to batter other ideas and opinions but dont give your own thoughts or "educated" guesses. I didn't ask for a typing battle to see who had the most witty sarcastic reply.

Has anyone considered this Intamin that was built just last year
http://www.rcdb.com/id3245.htm
The Supports look almost identical to the ones currently going up. Check out the ones in this picture It also has the Intamin triangle track all the way around.

The ride is a launch coaster with a few inversions, many turns near the ground, and a lot of 'sidewindin'
