I know EXACTLY what is happening in 2010. To prove myself right, I'm not gonna say anything. Those who know, don't talk right?
2007,2008 Ripcord
Yeah, but you just talked about how you weren't gonna talk about it. Therefore, you know nothing. ;)

personally, I hope SRF stays. On a hot day, it's an essential part of the day at the park. When I worked there, I figured out that the best way to keep cool is to make sure your clothes stay damp. It keeps you cool. The park is no fun if your hot and sweaty. Plus, just watching that big splash is probably even more fun then actually riding it.
^ Interesting perspective; I have the Jon Bovi perspective on rides like SRF; the absolute last thing I want to do whether it is 90 and humid or 75 and crisp is ride something that is going to 100% soak me (unless I am in a water park). Even as a kid, I really never liked rides like thunder canyon, etc...In fact, I always preferred the rapids ride at Kings Island because of this. First, it's simply a far better ride, and second, there were no soaking waterfalls that left you absolutely soaked and...like you said...damp all day. No thanks.
Promoter of fog.
^^I couldn't agree less lol. Walking around in damp clothing is terrible.

Chafing sucks, hot, and wet makes it happen about 5 times as fast too.
They make some good products to prevent chafing.
I use this stuff when I take long bike rides, or walk all day at an amusement park. http://www.dz-nuts.com/catalog/
WOW great stuff! lol i am a bigger guy so i just might have to go ahead and buy some of that dz-nuts this year

It works good for healing blisters on the feet too. It also has a strong cooling effect. It feels really good if you get galded.
I wonder what the average mileage most people walk a day at the point?
My sister and I always try to do some walking a couple week prior to get ready for what is in store. We only get to make it up about once a year, so we seem to never stop once we get in the park, and chafe has happened on some hot days.
I hope what ever they put in won't take anything out! I still think it would be cool if they made it intertwine with what is there! I will be happy with whatever they put in especially if it is a coaster....maybe one like the Dominator style and make the track go real close to things to add to the thrill!!! Just a thought...
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
Personally, I give added weight to any advice about creams and ointments given by someone named KYJoe . . .

So I will probably get kicked off the forum on the first day for asking this here.. but, I'm making a trip to Cedar Point May 18th and 19th and was wondering what everyone thinks the park is going to be like crowd wise?
LOL!
^Is that a joke?
Because no one can predict how the crowds will be at the park on anygiven day, not even Dick Goddard (Cleveland joke). The crowds will probably be lights but you may run into a lot of schools and groups. Just go and you'll find out.
