Wow one person caught onto my splitting coaster idea... lol. I think that is what it is going to be.. Have any of you rode the ravine flyer 2? That is practically in my backyard. Awesome ride.

Maybe Intamin will make a whole new kind of roller coaster.

^ It is according to their website.

EDIT: After all, that is what they did with Millenium Force, Maverick, and Top Thrill Dragster.

On second thought let's not go to Six Flags, 'tis a silly place.

How far are you from waldameer? I just think it is nice having a cedar point quality ride 10 minutes from my house versus having to drive 3 hours to the point.

Well, you also don't know WHY I am so sure of a flume ;) but I digress.:)

I am in Cleveland so I'd say hour and a half, 2 hrs tops. But I had to go there - needed to ride the coaster that goes over a road:)

I've only gone under it once, but the one time I did, I really wished the coaster would come over the road right before I went under the bridge. It didn't though. :(

I could see Cedar Point adding a new type of roller coaster... They have done it before, why not again?..

I think the last time CP added a new type of coaster was Millennium with the elevator lift system. Before that I can't think of another "new" type, just the tallest and fastest of existing types like inverted or stand-up.

One Manufacturer that no one mentioned as a possible candidate is Premier Rides. They are building Kennywood's new coaster for 2010. Its possible Cedar Point might be using them this time as well. Just a thought.

Watch this be the biggest letdown "Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky Ohio is building a two story McDonalds for the 2010 Season. This Mcdonalds will feature beverage's such as Whyte lightning, and RC Cola Thrill seekers beware!"

Well, if it's true,I hope they do. I loveeee RC cola, haha!

fast...Faster...FASTEST!

I think one other manufacture not directly mentioned yet either is
Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters (PTCI) ... after all they are the ones that built Blue Streak (and some other darn good woodies some have mentioned for comparison on here). Just a thought too.

^^ you beat me to the thought on Premier Rides. :)

Maybe they can learn from their mistakes with BuzzSaw Falls and come up with a really cool and better coaster with some water too?
