Oops. I thought it was a checkered flag. I'm overthinking it again. :(

Oh well, I figured it was useless anyway. :)

I don't think lightning rods on tall buildings and the shuttle launch pad count. I mean, they are designed to ATTRACT lightning. But it get your point....

Welcome to PointBuzz, RideWarrior18.

Helpful tip - Its unnecessary to quote a post if its near yours. Read this, specifically #8 (and #9, too). :)

Lightning rods are not the only places where lightning can strike twice, they're simply the most easily demonstrable occurrences.

Lightning can strike any location (or person) more than once.

Ok lightning strikes twYce it is going to be a racing coaster, that will have inverts on it. It could very well be a short and small ride, but with orange flags by the mine ride we may be losing a ride to build a ride also, but mark my words it is a racing coaster, if you drink moonshine im sure you see double the clues are all there.

Brandon

so then one is Lightning and the other is Thunder..........

could be interesting

Or it could be incredibly unlikely. You know, whichever makes more sense.

Brandon

Im sure it will have a launch system keeping with what we been doing with the cars next to each other then taking off in loops and it does look like the Y moon shine or any other amounts of alcohol you will see double after so much this has to be it, now we wait and see.

Thanks for the welcome and tips djDaemon. I understand the concept of lightning, not here to argue about that. Just putting out an old fable phrase.

Still wishing for a splitting coaster, that'd be cool. Or something with underwater tunnel.

Brandon77 - Seeing as how you're new here, perhaps it would be a good idea to read this thread before making claims that have likely already been dispelled or ruled unlikely for various reasons and maybe when you get a chance read the posting guidelines and get a feel for the community before posting things that move the conversation backward rather than forward since this will help create a better conversation for everyone involved including you.

Anyone watching Carowinds announcement? Should be pretty soon, video is up

I am hoping this is a highly themed dark ride (which I'm thinking it likely). If it indeed is a dark ride, I for one will be extremely excited!

This is the attraction that Cedar Point is in desperate need of. I am really getting anxious now for annoucement! Who's with me?

^^ I am watching it but for the past 20 minutes they have done nothing.

Firemen never die, they just burn forever in the hearts of the people whose lives they saved

Watching but at work so keep getting interupted.

Please remain in your seat until the ride comes to a complete and final stop.

The Intimidator

So if Carowinds isn't getting a ride called whyte/white lightning, then I guess the name then soley belongs to Cedar Point. Well, after all Cedar Point's Facebook said "KD:1CW:2CP:3", so now we have 2 down, one to go (assuming that the post was making a reference to the announcement dates or each park getting a new ride).

I have to admit. The Intimidator looks better than Diamondback. I loved Diamondback too.

With these great advancements going on at other CF parks it really does look like Kinzel is going out with a bang no matter what is put in here at the Point.

Hoping to one day build these great machines that we affectionatly call "Coasters"
