Sorry if it was a stupid idea, but it can seem logical from the amount of space. After what Drew said, he understands what I think too. I just hope this ride isn't just L-TH-B. They need to do more to the ride, even if there is a lot of time to build more.
I just wonder what they are doing on the island and by the Dodgem site.
By the way, I have no idea, but can someone tell me exactly where the tower is on the map I posted, because I didn't get a chance to see it in person. Thanks.

I will admit that I am hoping against all hope that there are a few elements on the way that we know nothing about. It does seem like they do have a lot more time to add them. I know it's probably not gonna happen, but I can dream, right?

I'm hoping for an announcement today (Monday).

Hear is my 2 cents again I have to say that looking at that map again right now the ride is about half of the area alotted in that map. I think if they took out dogem for this ride they WILL do something with that space and same with millie island that is in the construction zone and I DO think that their will be more. Remember almost all the coasters there are world class coasters so I think cp will not make one that is not a world class coaster

You wouldn't consider a 400-450 foot 120 mph coaster world class?

I think it's too late to be discussing wether or not it's going to be launch-tophat-breaks. It is going to be. And it is going to be an amazing ride

unfortunatly I say that if it is going to be a launch tophat breaks it is just not cp's style and it wont be as world class as millennium force

Do they want another, taller version of MF? No! They want a coaster that will generate hype, draw crowds, and generate a hell of a lot of adrenaline. They aren't try to "dethrone" MF, why can't people understand that?

The launch alone insures that it is not anything like MF. Now please understand that I am all for this ride, especially since we aren't really "due" for one so soon after WT. But I do believe that this is a "filler" because of space limitations and SFMM building "Scream". People that say CP doesn't care about being in the record books aren't being realistic, of course they care! Two coasters in two years! They aren't doing this because they love us, that's for sure! :)

The tallest, fastest coaster on the planet is a filler ride? I don't think so.

Where do people get the idea that Wicked Twister (over $7 million) and #16 (cost unknown) are filler rides? Disneyland in California only cost $5 million to build and it was an entire park!

I just don't understand some of you.

Yeah, they don't just build filler rides at the point. When was the last time cedar point didn't build a coaster that broke at least three world records, i sure can't remember! This coaster will be the best one in the park, by a long shot. Sure it will take some time to win people's hearts away from MF but it took time for people to like MF more that Magnum, some people still thing Magnum is better than MF, so just give the ride a few years. I can see the commercials now, they won't have a big blue coaster anymore, i can tell u that much!

Wicked Twister is a great ride! Just because it looks simple soesn't mean it sucks! I wouldn't mind having it in my back yard!

Who thinks that buying stock in Cedar Fair Amusments is a really good idea right now? I mean hmmmm, world's tallest and fastest roller coaster on the planet, i think they might make a few dollars next year! Not to mention the improvements announced for all the other excellent small parks they own. I'm in!!!
