My thoughts

First of all, I'm new here and decided to sign up to give my opinions. I haven't read a whole lot so don't blame me if any ideas have been used.

If people here are saying there will be a launch and a few twists, they might be wrong. Take a look at the map here
http://www.virtualmidway.com/mystery/mapa.jpg

I have never been at the park when the tower was up [i was there only in the early summer] but from the Power Tower cam it looks right next to Millennium Force island, and along Iron Dragon. I know it is obvious, but if you see the link, the spot is right at Chaos/Troika and not at Dodgem.

So here is what I am saying. Right now, the front launch is going up with another one right by it, possibly connecting the two for the ride if it reaches 400+ feet. But what if the front side goes up, curves to the island, over to Dodgem, and up the back side to go down the other track?? I think that is a great idea of what it might look like and why Dodgem and the island is being constructed on.
I don't really care if this is a stupid idea, but I thought it would make a really good topic. Just look at the map.

Hmmmm. Momma said if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.

Might I just make the suggestion that you read through the tons of comments that have been made concerning #16?

If you don't like to read a lot, then I suggest just looking at the webcams where you will find that your theory has a gaping hole in it.

In order to go back up from the back side, that would mean adding another launch. Not that this can't be done, but it's been pretty much established that this is not likely to happen.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

It is sad that whenever someone new visits this site, the "old-timers" act like the should have read the 10,000 posts already on the system. Look folks, some people like me have jobs and canot sit in from of the computer all day reading your enlightened commentary.

If someone asks a question that has been answered in another post, just be kind, and answer them.

I have been in the same situation as this person and know how it feels.

I don't mean to offend anyone, I just think this needs to be said.

I was the target of this before and i have avoided commenting on this site for quite some time.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I feel this needs to be said

Who was mean to him? I answered his question and offered him suggestions on how he can find out more information.

OldCPer answered his question.

Kakarot didn't say anything mean.

The only way new visitors are going to learn to avoid making flame-inducing posts is for us to let them know when they have done it.

Some people like to say that ‘there is no such thing as a stupid question.’ But I have to disagree. While in school their always seemed to be that one kid who would wake-up in time to ask a question that the teacher just answered five minutes ago. If you are going to post something in a public forum, you should have some knowledge of previous topics. This is just common sense.

I wasn't trying to be mean either.. I was just predicting the future.

Heh...its Ms. Cleo

This is a *Slightly* stupid topic.

Sure, we don't expect someone to read through all the threads, but at least a few before they jump into the conversation. Many of their questions would be answered, and many of their predictions either reaffirmed, or put to rest. It's as simple as looking around a little before posting.

Launch: Tophat: Twistage: Brakes...

...Denial is an ugly thing.

r-r started off by saying we shouldn't blame him because he was new and hasn't read a lot about what was going on. Well, he's right, we shouldn't blame him. We should blame his parents. He has apparently been raised with the attitude that he can do anything he wants whenever he wants to do it. Unfortunately, his parents forgot the last part of the phrase. It goes like this:

"You can do anything you want, AS LONG AS YOU WORK HARD ENOUGH."

Obviously, for him, he didn't take the time or make the effort to read past posts before posting something that has been a dead issue for quite some time. That would have been hard work.

Those are just "my thoughts".

Very very interesting......

"Twisted Sister" is the name of the new rollercoaster at Cedar Point for 2003. Just watch!

did any of you people see the picture that raptor put up. It shows the construction site partially over on Millie Is. What the Heck would they be doing over there if this ride was almost done? And besides I do not know where you people got educated in building roller coasters because all of you seem to know a lot. I, on the other hand admit that I do not know a lot about coaster mechanics, but I do know that it does not take 5 months to build a rollercoaster station. It never has and if anything it might take a month. So they start very early on the construction and one month after the park is closed for the season (before the announcement) The ride is done??? I do not think so. There is going to be more to this ride than what is already built.

****That was very hard to do without swearing*****

vsvsdvsdf
whatever that means

Everyone thinks that #16 is just gonna be Launch, Twist, Tophat, brakes. That is probaly not going t happen. I think their twisting the track just for a quick spin then its gonna the train will go right back down to a huge overbank turn (Around 230ft.) over M. Island then gonna go right back up, go right back down to some bunny hops and then hit the brakes.
will it be big?
Huge
I do not know about bunny hops. because the brakes are already there. I am running out of time to talk, 'cause I gotta go to work. But that sounds like a fun ride, that is the way Drew explained it. Talk to ya'll later
if you go to the web-cam yoou can see that theirs a truck about to load about 50 new pices of blue and ornge trak! Wait they just covered it with a blue tarp!
