More Downtime

Any word on it being open today or not? If it was down all day yesterday, there has to be some kind of movement going on today.

The website status says it will not open today.

nothing new-- smelling lots of hydraulic fluid. frequently happens.

The timing of this breakdown sucks for CP. Last weekend (holiday) of the main part of the season and one of their main attractions go down for 2+ days after running a rather awesome season. TTD needed to blow its hydraulic stuff Monday night, not Friday. :)

I was in line on Thursday and a gentleman actually said he heard they were taking it down after this season. Isn't that crazy to believe that?

^Was that confirmed before or after the ride flew off the track a couple times?

It was actually confirmed after they found out that Magnum is indeed sinking and that Cedar Point IS running out of room.

That man more than likely heard that bologna from 2 aliens that visited him from the future.

Between that and Dragster being dismantled...I pick the aliens, it makes more sense.:)

Thats really funny, the odds of them taking rides out like that are very very low. I don't think this guy was talking to aliens, he was probably getting high before he came to the park...lol.

Yeah, but god knows what you could see if your high or if your doing other drugs. Aliens, fairies, oompa loompas!

That's why I plan never to do drugs.:)

They're taking it out and putting in a 4-D because I said it was boring and I want a 4-D.

It doesnt look like TTD will be running today either. The webcam shows nobody in line and no Ride OPs there either. There are people walking around and I looked at the schudule and it says CP opens at 10AM so the park its open, TTD isnt.......

I'm so mad. I'm leaving in a few minutes and I really wanted to get a ride in while it was not very crowded today. And on top of that, there's that many more people waiting for MF! I guess I'll hope that it will open later. What a bummer for people who do not have passes and are going this weekend.

Saturday night around 10:15 pm, they had a crane over by the launch building, but I couldn't tell what they were doing. There was a train in the infield towards the end of daily operation. I don't know if this is confirmed but a friend of mine said one of the trains was sitting on the blacktop near the launch area. Sounds like they knew they were not going to get the ride up before they closed the park up for this week.

All 6 trains were on the transfer tracks both Saturday and Sunday.

...and Monday as well.

She's an Intamin, and she relatively ran well all season. This was fated to be coming. :(

It is "closed indefinitely because of mechanical problems."

TTD is closed indefinitely all the time. It usually opens within a few days.
