100,000 rides at this point in the season sounds way low to me. Magnum and Raptor give that many rides in a bad single week (over 130,000 in a good week). I know Dragster can't approach Magnum's numbers, but 100,000 is wrong. It probably gave 12,000 rides on Coastermania day because 1200 launches in a day is not possible even if the ride ran for three of four extra hours for ERT. 12,000 riders would take 667 launches if every seat was filled. 12,000 riders is still probably among the top couple days ever for Dragster, if not the best though. I bet they will break 1 million riders this year on Dragster, but that isn't close to what they had hoped for the ride.

Hey, tonight all the ride ops are sitting around on the loading dock, and the trains are full. What gives? Is TTD down again?
That sounds like a rollback situation, or a short mechanical delay. No biggy.

Oh well, this is something to really sweat too much about considering it's been running more often then Kingda Ka over there in Six Flags Great Adventure. I guess we have to look at it this way, the coaster needs a break, and it chose to break down on Labor Day. It's almost like were referring to if these walls could talk, only we are talking about If our rollercoasters could talk.
It sure was closed today. I walked up to the resort entrance gate and saw the dreaded sign. The trains stayed on the storage tracks all day and there didn't seem to be anyone (staff) anywhere near it. This was until about 5, when I left, so stuff might have happened after that. By the way, is Kingda Ka back up?
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
