Never go to MySpace groups if overquoting is a peeve. The folks over there can make them 25 levels deep!!!!! (VERY annoying!)
Or, just never go to MySpace. Ever.

You don't even need to use carats. My God, doesn't anyone remember how to use written communication? Do you sit around with your friends and poke them twice to let them know you're talking to them about their second to last thought? No. You say, "Well Johnny, I agree that Veronica Mars clearly had a policy to reference The Big Lebowski in every episode, though I only noticed it in season 3."
If I'm talking to 10 or more people and person 1 asks a question then person 2 asks a question I'll most likely reference person 1 somehow before answering their question so person 2 doesn't think I'm talking to them.
I know carats are popular, but I think using @user is easier to follow. One or two carats are one thing, but seeing ^^^^^^^ gives me a headache. :)
Walt, I have to agree. :)
(See, I referenced Walt so he knew I was talking to him. How hard is that?)
Aw come on Ashley, tell us about your friend that's a ride op who knows all about the new ride for next year.
eat. sleep. ride! - Coaster apparel and accessories!
Ride on, MrScott!
Sorry, I deleted it because I wasn't sure if I would get in trouble for posting it.
Ashley
An inverted coaster is like a ski lift gone haywire!!
You won't get in "trouble" but your ride op friend knows about as much about next year's addition as anyone else here.
I was being sarcastic and would have gladly used a Lemon Chill guy reference in a reply to your other post.

I know, I kind of figured it was false when I saw that it said "our ride op friend told us..."But still, who knows? It might be true.

I think a lot of people have heard rumors/grumblings about what is happening next year, and I'm sure most of them are false. We can all be patient and wait to hear what will be new next year, and for those of us that already know, more power to ya.
As for my opinion of what should happen to Mean Streak, I think an entire train of people should be dispatched with full cans of gas, and they should dump it on the ride as it cycles. Then, we get an army of men with flaming bows and arrows and they shoot fire into the ride. Then, we toast weenies and marshmallows. Afterwards, we call Gravity Group and tell them to build something there, and then rejoice as CP has another Top 10 coaster added to the list.
What's with everyone dissing the Mean Streak. It's not a Magnum ride, but it's enjoyable all the same. Sure it's bumpy and the thrill of speed is gone, but I find it to be a nice coaster.
I don't think mean streak is really THAT bad but its not very good either. I would much rather have a good coaster in its place.
MS sucks since day one when I had to Wait in line for 3 hours for nothing, but I still have to ride it every time I go to CP

That would cost more than a new coaster would! ;)
Let's Get Weird.
If anything happens to Mean Streak, it will happen in 2009. And even if they build a new wooden coaster in it's place, it won't be ready until 2010. In my opinion I don't think Mean Streak is going anywhere. People still like this ride. Yeah I know it may not seem like it but they do. What they should do is remove some of the queue spaces for Mean Streak since it's just collecting weeds anyway.
Mean Streak is very pretty at night, also, it's the longest ride in the park, lasting nearly 3 minutes.
I would be sad to see it go because this year was the first year I rode it since it opened.
To be honest I can't see Mean Streak leaving. It is too new of a ride. With Dicks ego, I can't see it going so soon while he is still in charge. I would love to see a major retrack and a turn-off of the trims.
^Both would make it better, and could give some airtime and bring back some feeling on the first drop. If they keep it they need to take away the trims and deal with the maintenance issues that could arise. Its not like anyone cares if Mean Streak is down for a couple of extra hours.
^but the ride was never that good even WITHOUT trims. painfull every turn and..ugh......wasnt fun.One question, what do you guys mean when you say the Lemon Chill guy has a sign that Mean Streak is GONE?
quote from Mean Streak operator, "Welcome to Mean Streak. It's so mean it'll rip the heads off your Barbie dolls and steal your lunch money!!!"
