I'm thinking the moment they get the all clear from Intamin and the state, they'll open those gates and call it a "soft opening" of some type to still give the first public rides to the Red Cross auction.
It shouldn't be long when someone catches Sandar Karnacs taking another spin and then shortly followed by Kinzel and the other CP officials taking it for a spin.

Well, Mystery Mine had all its kinks worked out well in advance. All of the employees of the park even rode it well before the public got a chance to ride it beginning on 3/29. MM 'officially' opened on 4/13.
Plus I think the highest bidder for Mystery Mine was about $625. And that included a photo with Dolly and some other perks.

Yeah, you better get your camera if he's around, you don't want to miss that chance of a lifetime.

Ride on, MrScott!
And it's finished and will be opening on Saturday! Wow. Very fast!
From T&T
"Oh yeah, and the surprise we had for you…
Even though you didn’t see it in the animation or original plans, we’ve installed what are known as “water bombs” that will explode as each train dives over the lagoon after the second launch! They’ll go off in sequence adding to the adventure and excitement of the ride."
Well how about it, MrScott? *** Edited 5/25/2007 12:30:02 AM UTC by cpthomasf91***

I'm #50 and can say with certainty that the Red Cross riders will be there bright and early Saturday Morning. They havn't called me with exact details yet, though. IIRC we had to be there pretty early last year. I think it may have been around 7am. Since I'm down on the list, I'm hoping for a rear seat but will be happy with what ever I get. :)
Also, since there was no official Media Day, it wouldn't suprise me if there were some reporters and cameras on hand.

LAst year, the Joe Cool and resort guests were lining up before we got our ride on Skyhawk. Although, that may have been more due to technical problems rather than the actual desire to wait for an audience. We stood around a bit, while they worked on the ride. So if your looking to get some pics or video, put on your running shoes and get there early.
