To touch on what someone said earlier about the pull through, I saw the plywood clearance board heading toward the site on a forklift today while I rode Mean Streak. I never saw them run it through with the caster setup, but that is pretty interesting to hear. I was wondering how much of a mess it would be to try to get a train (or part of a train) over there for a pull through. All in all it's looking like Saturday is going to be the go date. Makes me very happy, since I leave town for the rest of summer on Sunday. :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
When the first announcement about the delay was made, I was sure I wasn't going to ride it during my trip next week. But right now, it's hard not to be optimistic :)

Regardless of when it opens, It better be Operating when I go on Monday June 4. By the way it looks like now. I don't think there will be a problem with that date. All I can say for the 2010 coaster is it better not be Intamin. Anything but that. Unless... Nope forget it. Dead set on NO INTAMIN. A Nice smooth woodie or a A Twisty loopy B&M. I am pushing toward the more inversions area. I think inversions is something CP lacks. But the ones they have are sweet!

I can assure you that no coaster from "Intiam" will be build. :)

I just called Red Cross to confirm the details of my bid (only put it in last night) and they said they still don't know when the ride will open but that they'll be calling all the winners once they do know. If it opens Saturday I will not be able to go, but the person I spoke to said he doubts it will be Saturday..

Monday would actualy be better for me. I have to be in Columbus for a Grad Party Saturday. Plus I was going to try and be at Kings Island for the Firehawk opening. It's not my most favorite ride, but I find it hard to pass up a free T-Shirt. :)
