All I can say for the 2010 coaster is it better not be Intiam. Anything but that. Unless... Nope forget it. Dead set on NO INTIAM.I can assure you that no coaster from "Intiam" will be build. :)
And the same thing was said in 2004, 2005, and 2006, and look what we got. Thanks for your assurance though.

It looks like the cranes are gone, and all that is left is the hose to refill the pond. Perhaps we will have full circuit testing today, and maybe even an announcement?

^^ I think he was refering to the fact that you said Intiam instead of Intamin or IntaRide.

I've been looking at the cam on and off today, and it definitely looks like the pond is being filled. The water level seems to be raising in that one corner, and I know it's not rain.

Just caught a train on the lift... I don't know if it is more rollback testing though... Ill watch the funcam for a bit... :)

Hmm... the ride is doing full cycles now. Just caught it coming into the brakes on the FunCam... but after reading the blog, I'm thinking that we are still looking at a June opening....

You're welcome! Yep... I'm pretty sure we won't get any "Intiam". But who knows? I could change my name to Willy, and who'd have though?

Possibly. I think the last thing CP wants right now is to say it will be open on Monday, only to delay it for something. I wouldn't be surprised for them to come out tomorrow and announce the official opening.
Wow, nice update, nice pics! Go, State of Ohio, go go go!

They are definitely doing full circuit testing. 12:27:41 capture shows the train on one of the small bunny hill under the lift (from the angle of the picture, anyway).
I just saw Maverick go down the first drop on the Funcam. Looks like the testing has begun. Now I am afraid that the park will be swarming when we go on Monday (our only trip this season) if that is when Maverick opens.
EDIT, Here is a picture from the Funcam of the train going down the first drop:

And here is a shot from the webcam with the train about to go over the tunnel hop thing:

It looks like the pond has been filled back up too.
I also think that weather is going to be the biggest factor in determining the opening date. It is suppossed to rain friday, and some of saturday and sunday. If Mavrick can test in the rain, then it might open by this weekend. If it can't then it will probably be 2 or 3 days after this weekend at the earliest.

Four discount funday tickets to Cedar Point: $130.96
Overnight stay at Breakers Express: $70
Riding rides the size of skyscrapers while "legally" breaking the local speed limit: Priceless
It is really good to see it running. I don't think rain will effect the ride from opening but who knows.
