Yep, one capture, the train was on the lift, the next capture, the train was gone.
I saved them both to my hard drive...
Ok, BGSU wasn't pulling our leg, there was a train on the lift.

Well, I wasn't going to go the the park today, but now I think I might.

Now the question that needs to be answered is whether those are being sent through the course, or if they're testing their "rollbacks" again.
My guess is that they ran one through to get it to the launch so they can do a pull through of the newly installed track. Anyone there tonight will probably be able to see the train with the template on it being pulled through the newly installed section of track.

Actually I have seen the train on the hill 3 different times in the past 10 minutes so I am guessing they are letting it go thru full circle without the template.
Ride-on
Based on when BGSU saw the train and when I saw mine, a train has gone up the lift at least 2 times.

Here's a scenario. Let's say they do the pull-through tonight, and start testing this thing at midnight, and run it 24 hours. Thursday - Sunday is 96 hours. This thing MAY actually be up for Memorial Day...
This whole thing so far has been really interesting........
Early june almost seems to be a bit on the "at the most" side of the timeline. *** Edited 5/23/2007 8:50:56 PM UTC by TTD 120mph***

Well I dont see any more trains cycling on the FunCam, but if people did see multiple trains on the lift... that is quite interesting.
They couldnt have painted the welded section yet... that takes some time to dry! Perhaps we will have an announcement tomorrow?

Was anyone watching the FunCam at all to see if these trains were cycling? I was only watching CP's cam, and caught one on there.
It doesn't need to be painted in order for it to have a run through...they can do touch ups when they are done and before it opens :)
-Eric
^^ - they've got more than touchups to do. Since they had some welding to do on one end of a section, all the paint was stripped off so they could weld it.

That was probably the one I saw, too. The actual time is off by about 10 minutes from the clock on the camera.
I saw another train on the lift at 17:42:52. *** Edited 5/23/2007 9:40:17 PM UTC by CPFANATIC2004***

I don't think they're cycling these. I've been keeping an eye on the FunCam, and I haven't seen any trains on the circuit. I think they're just running these up and down the lift.
