I am almost sure that you can obtain the Joe Cool Club with the Maxx pass, but don't quote me on it.
As for the other rides in the park, they were relatively a quick wait. The longest I waited was an hour for Dragster just b/c it broke down due to the rain. MF was 30 min. roughly, but as the day progressed, the lines got longer.
I was actually surprised that it wasn't that busy today being Memorial Day. Probably b/c of the rain it wasnt that busy. I'm almost sure that the lines will be even shorter on Monday.

Yes, you can get the Joe Cool on a CP issued Maxx Pass, that's what I got. :)

The "water bombs" were not running on Saturday. Based on their placement though, I think that they will provide more of an effect for the crowd watching than for the riders. (similar to the water effects on Sheikra or Hulk) Regardless, Maverick still ROCKED yesterday! *** Edited 5/28/2007 2:59:33 AM UTC by Top Chill Snowcones***
Wow, it looks as if Maverick may be closed at the moment. The cam captured an image at 1:28:51pm and they were running emptry trains, and you could see a person in a blue shirt walking the track. (presumably a maintenance worker).
I'm too sexy for my harness!
Right now there is a train on the transfer track and no trains runnng as of 1:32:30. I was watching the cam most of the morning and no train was on the transfer track yet.
Edit: i just saw the gold train run with people on it. flase alarm. ;)

In response to the question asked about other wait times:
No. I believe when Dragster first opened (keeping in mind its wonderfully flawless operation /sarcasm) it was four hours, maybe more.
Not sure about MF or Raptor opening day, anyone know?

I just wanted to add my opinion of Maverick. It is my new favorite. The adrenaline rush is from the first hill to the station.
I do want to warn people with broad shoulders though DO NOT PUT YOUR ARMS UP! I have a bruise on each shoulder from the harness although I couldnt resist putting my arms up on all three rides that I took.
Opening day t-shirt vouchers were being handed out by Monty Jasper. I was rider #280 on opening day and #502 today.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it.
Piss on it and walk away.
I got stuck in the launch tunnel. It was kind of cool creeping half way through the tunnel at 1mph! A guy came through a door into the tunnel and pressed a button to manualy move us at about 5mph almost all of the way through the tunnel. Then he launched us. It was so cool because we reached 70mph in 0.5 seconds! This ride is so awesome! It's insane! It's wild! It's crazy! Uf you haven't already rode this Maverick, you got to as soon as you can!
