Maverick Rocks!!!!

I wouldn't dout it, Monday is going to be the nicest day of the weekend from the last time I checked the weather.

Yes, It's Memorial Day here in the US.

Now you know the funny part about this is everyone was BASHING Intaride for their creation and faulty designs, flaws and all... now everyone is praising the ride. I am glad the ride is a great hit and I am sooo STOKED to go ride it! RIDE ON!

The ride was AWESOME!!! 1st ride I went back row, then I got back in line and waited 2 hrs...got the front row...

The photo turned out really well..taken as you are about to exit the tunnel.

I think the reason everyone was bashing IntaRide is because of the delay and the fact that something like that flaw could (potentially) be discovered via computer design before fabrication.

Im confused lol. BGRooDoG said the on-ride photo was taken after the replaced track and Itrain2006 said it was taken as you are about to exit the tunnel. Which is it? Just wondering because i collect the on-ride pictures and i was just imagining what it would look like!

There are 2 photo locations, just like on Dragster.

Great ride! 10 out of 10, exceeded my expectations. I rode twice today, 2 hour wait for the first and less than 1.5 for the second. The rain was a bummer, but at least they kept it running. Good job CP!

I was rider #2328, not as good as some of you. Glad to be a part of the 1st 3000!

Just got back from the park and of course the first thing i check online is the pointbuzz posts about Maverick. I would have to say that it exceeded my expectations as well.

I got to ride it 4 times!!! Due to the delay in the auction some bidders couldn't make it so I got bumped up to #3 and chose the last seat on the first train! Even Tony said that it was the best seat!!! I would have to agree except when the first train got stuck in the launch tunnel for 5 min. and the water mist drenched us the whole time...besides that good ride.

After the ride was over, the crew let us go again and again...then I waited 20 min. in line in the rain with the Joe Cool Club. I have to say that it is money well spent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be there again on Monday! Who else is going?

I will be there Monday, and it sounds like a lot of other folks will be too... It will be a mad dash for the Fleece Zip Ups ;)

yea ill be their too i got the maxx pass just a quick question can u still apply for joe cool club if u have a max pass season pass, or do u need a cedar point pass?

The wait times blow my mind. I've seen a max of two hours, maybe a little more, but wow. Compare that to recent Intamin successes like Dragster...that's really impressive. It's nice to see the entire train operation running that smoothly on day one.

What was the wait times for the other popular coasters like Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and Raptor like? Did they have their normal wait times compared to Maverick?

Judging by these reviews, I think I might need to bring a bib moday....you know...to help with the drooling that will follow my ride.;) I think I've been looking forward to this coaster more than anything I've ever looked forward to. The shirt and fleece will make it all the better on Monday. Now I also have a question about that deal. My mom asked me if it was 3000 all 3 days, or 3000 each day and I told her it was 3000 each day........I sure hope that's correct, seeing that's what T&T said:P
If thats the case, it should be a piece of cake to get both the fleece and shirt come monday.

Oh and I'd like to ask, how did it run overall? In accordance with my Dragster log, I also have a Maverick log......just to see how it performs in it's first year.

I didn't ride it but it was down two different times when I walked by today.

Just got home. Maverick moved up to one on my list.

the Two hour wait i didnt like, but that was it. the dives were great! there ALOT of times that your out of your seat. Very well done....

TTD 120mph, it's 3,000 a day. I had ticket number 1392 (got off the ride around noon), and the lady said we were part of the last 1000 to give away for the day. I'm quessing the vouchers weren't given out in order.

Yeah, it is the first 3000, all weekend and monday. The red cross riders also received the fleece pull overs and they are nice. Maverick was down a few times, but only for a few minutes from what I saw. The tunnel caused a few delays. The first train got stuck in the tunnel for 5 min. It was fun!!! Moved up on my list too!
