If you check out today's OnPoint Blog, T&T give a hint about Antique Cars at random. I think that it was interesting because why would they mention that ride for no reason. Do you guys think they are giving hints of Antique Cars being removed or am I reading too much into it.
Here is today's OnPoint: http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun%5Fonline/blog/
If they do remove the Antique Cars, hopefully it'll be at the end of the season because I wanna ride it.

If they remove a car ride, hopefully it will be one of the two in the front.
Why does everyone want to see Antique Cars removed? The area occupied by WWL is absolutely huge by itself.
Who doesn't enjoy the 'Tiques, anyway? When I was a little boy I used to beg my parents to let me drive, or steer, or maybe just stand on the gas pedal! First PKI removes theirs to put in Stunt Track, and now everyone wants CP to follow suit? (Oh, then I guess we're getting a Premier LIM coaster, ;) j/k).

Apparently Sandusky has an ordinance limiting the number of huge plots of land that one buisness is allowed to own. Maybe that's why CP was looking at buying a SF or Paramount park because then they could "own" one of the huge plots on the penninsula thereby allowing CP to sidestep the ordinance.

^Isn't Cedar Point just one huge plot as far as the city is concerned? I'm a little confused on what your logic is. Is Cedar Point really subdivided into separate zoning "lots"?

I believe Jugga was being sarcastic. Look at the post made by Jump to Conclusions and I think you'll get it.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
Well, Millennium force is more a Side-ways T shaped plot...
Is WWL's area really THAT huge? I've seen the Live Local Foto's of it, but I guess you have to see it in person, I wasn't really paying attention to how big it was when I went there.

WWL's area may not seem that big, but look at it comparitively: Magnum and Millenium Force both cover a large area, but at any given point their footprint is really narrow, so the actual plot they sit on isn't terribly huge as far as square feet. WWL's area isn't as spread out but it has a greater width. It's actually pretty close to the size of Millenium Island.
White Water Landing's ride area was 5 acres. For comparison, Blue Streak is 2 3/4 acres, WildCat is 1/3 acre, Gemini is 6 acres, Mean Streak is 5 1/2 acres, and Mine Ride is 4 acres. Keep in mind the 5 acres for White Water Landing probably does not include the unused area between the former ride and Thunder Canyon.
Don't forget to think outside the box. Just like Raptor and Millennium Force, a new ride doesn't necessarily have to be contained to one area. And just because Gemini is 6 acres, it doesn't mean that a new ride would automatically be smaller.

I hope it spans more than one area.
Especially that part about the gift shop. :)
Ha.
Less than 30 days to go!
Should be an interesting season with people trying to see what is going on in the former WWL area...and interesting to see how CP trys to hide it, if at all.

They'll be hard-pressed to hide whatever may be going on there. From 161' up in the air, all it'll take is a quick glance over your right shoulder... that is, unless they enclose the entire area in a dome. ;)

I think the new ride's boundaries will be just north of the overbanked curve of MF (implying some incorporation above TC's area), just north of CCMR, and sort of keeping the train tracks south and SW of Mean Streak as its boundaries.
My two cents of pure speculation: What if the train was moved to accomodate both a new coaster and an extension of the Frontiertown midway? I think one of the bad things about Frontiertown is that its a dead end. If you look at the sat photos of that land, you an see where they could add a loop from the WWL area back to that round structure that used to enclose the old carousel. The new coaster would fit on one side, maybe another flat or kidde ride on another.
The changes in traffic patterns in the park alone would be worth creating the additional loop. What do you think about that?
