Live Web Cams

I'd like to think neither, due to the fact that all the 'announcements' might not be done yet-maybe another surprise is in store for us???

There has been a camera mounted atop Gemini's lift hill for what must be at least a month now. I suppose there is some technical reason why it is not up yet, but I do recall Tony posting a picture from that camera a while back.

3rd camera is up!!

I can't get the stream to work on the new cam.

It looks like "camera 2" is actually the new one. 1 and 3 look to be the original 1 and 2. At least based on the current still image from them all since the stream isn't working.

The placement of camera 2 got me thinking that maybe there is still something to be announced for the Blue Streak midway, even it's just new pavement and flowers. For Rougarou construction, they could just aim the existing cameras that direction. It may even be able to see the new pavilion construction from one of those.

Hmm, I'm trying to figure out where this new cam would be. I thought I saw one setup on Gemini's lift but is there any way it could've gotten this shot?

It looks like it's near the Raptor and Blue Streak midways.

Yeah, I'm thinking it has to be directly across the main midway. It's almost a straight shot across and there's no way that came from the back of the park. They tricked me...

The new webcam will not work on the live stream option for my computer.

The live stream aspect hasn't worked for anyone yet. They probably don't have it up and running yet.

I see that the live stream is now working for the 3rd cam on the main midway when viewed via the CP web page. Does anyone have the direct address to view this cam via VLC stream? I tried a similar address to the other two (rtsp://cs2.pixelcaster.com:1935/live/cedar3.stream) but have had no luck. Thanks

From the webcams page, if you go to the Live Stream link, then View Source, you can see the the rtmp provider has changed (you were correct about the cedar3.stream) to the following:
href=rtmp://cs3.pixelcaster.com/live (does not list the port).

So for a mobile camera app, you would use:
rtsp://cs3.pixelcaster.com/live:1935/live/cedar3.stream

I appreciate the live web cams. They allow me to get a virtual 'trip' to the park when I can't be there. Today I caught a glimpse of the parade. Are there any links to see, and hear, the marching bands performance from any given day?

It looks like there was a pretty sizable crowd today even though the weather was crappy and cold.

On one of the cams, it looks like Mantis is almost a full queue today.
