Lets just all agree to disagree :) Come on all (Group Hug)! This thread is just going to end up getting people upset. Jeff provides a free site, and if everyone continues to argue and fight, why would he want to continue this site? I for one would probably shut it down if it was me. We all know who and what aggravates one another and that will probably never change. I know myself how irritated I can get from posts on here towards me or not towards me. I guess Im just going to have to let things roll off my back, and realize you cant please all of the people all of the time. So my applogizes to all that I have ticked off. The one good thing I have learned about the internet is...once you hit the off button, it all goes away, unlike real life. LOL

For the past 3 years I have been part of this GTTP family. In those 3 years I have seen MORE than my share of dumb/idiotic/and even down right evil threads/posts. I IGNORE them. I am not a webmaster so can not comment on how Jeff handles HIS site. I do HATE people who have the "guts" to post crap here instead of addressing the problem directly, ie: Squishy w/Jeff. I have seen this site change and many people come and go, some we were glad to see go! I am NOT here to argue, I am here for the friends I have and the friends I have yet to meet, I am here due to my love for CEDAR POINT! I think maybe we all need to remember that Jeff can just as easily pull the plug on this entire site, then what? btw-I have met Jeff and his wife a few times and he a VERY nice person and funny as hell!
As for the question someone did ask-my 1st ride of the season will definitely be on my baby Raptor, I just hope he's up and flying at 10am-unlike this season's Opening Day!

Jeff, I've said my fair share of dumb s**t in the past, but I just hope all this rediculous criticism isn't getting to you at all. I can't believe the crap you get for running the 2 best coaster sites on the net.

I agree with Shorti, Jeff you are arrogant and ignorant! I think this whole coasterbuzz thing as well as GTTP drives your ego. There is a very good psychologist I know that can help you, just leave your email address here and I will forward it to you. She helped out a friend of mine who lost 15 million in the stock market about 10 years ago. Funny thing is this guy is worth 20 times that much.

Anyhow Jeff, I think it is time that you get the help that you so need.

Then maybe this site will be like it was years ago! FUN!!

No really, there are a lot of things that you have problems with Jeff, way too many for me to point out, but with the right sort of counseling, you can get the help you deserve!

If you don't find this site fun anymore, Coasting Along, then I have a suggestion.

With all due respect you really don't have any right to come to somebody else's site and tell that person what he should do, how he should run his site, or ESPECIALLY how he should handle his personal life and any problems YOU see him as having. Personally I see your post as a reflection on your OWN issues. Anyone who deigns to tell someone else, especially someone who DIDN'T ASK, to seek help is more arrogant than I've ever seen Jeff be. SO in short, STFU and go away if you don't like the site and the way it's run. It will be no big loss to US.

Thanks for the work you do in putting this site together. I hope no one here thinks your'e getting rich from pop up ads. I also hope people realize that there are not enough Cedar Point fans in the world to let guidetothepoint.com to go public. From time to time I see posts that make me think that there are a lot of people out there that don't seem to understand business at all. Or that people's time is a valuable commodity, whether you work for yourself or someone else.

Wow. Normally I completely ignore threads like this - in fact, this is the first time I've ever even considered replying to one of these "waste-of-timers" - but some of the above posts are downright insulting - i.e. Coasting Along's. Sheesh. Although it does make me hopeful that the world has somewhat returned to something resembling normalcy that people have the time to spend getting worked up about how someone runs a coaster web-site.

And for those of you that feel a certain webmaster is thin-skinned, arrogant, etc. - look how long this thread has been going. Would you let yourself get raked over the coals on your dime this long?

That's the same reason I decided I had enough of the Army, When as an NCO I told a Private what to do, He demanded to know why I, as Sergeant of The Guard at the Expert Field Medical Badge Training site (2 miles from North Korea), didn't pull a shift in the guard shack too. Who the heck does he think brought him his food for breakfast, lunch to the next shift, then relieved the last guard shift at Midnight, All the while supervising the camp maintenance squad?

I agree that Jeff should be open to constructive criticism, but your criticism was not constructive - it was a series of vague generalizations. Personally, I really didn't understand what your problem with Jeff was.

I think I'll listen to PimpDaddy's critiques as soon as I see the popular and highly regarded website of his making...or even a post that takes more effort to compose than a single paragraph.

Jeff is human, believe it or not, he can be in bad moods and get angry. Things have changed lately, but this is still a great site and I will continue to use it. I really don't think this should of been brought up, it only gets people angry. If you don't like the site.. leave! Don't post your deep hate, because that get's other people going.

You know what I love about Cedar Point? It's the whole of it. There is so much to do and see. There's rides, dining, photospots and games. On top of that, there's so much more. I can't see why anyone wouldn't have any amusement there. The atmosphere is noisy and glitzy. The hype is level but exciting. If you want to dump your lungs or listen to bad dialogue on a river boat, you can. You want fried chicken or salads, you can get that. You need to take your kids somewhere to do something they can enjoy, you have that. It's great to go with friends or family, and people of all ages have something they can enjoy. It's where you wanna go when life can get a little too real for you. It's someplace that will help take your mind off the insults and conflicts of others with careers, people and anything else bothersom.

Now this site as I understand is devoted to growing popularity of Cedar Point. My question is, what does this thread have anything to do with CP Jeff?
