in the future....

Of course...according to a report...i go to MM on a monthly basis...its never been closed when I went out... but im sure its just a coincidence...right?
X was closed for more than a month, so during your monthly visits, it should have been closed at least once.

Doing a quick search I find:

It was closed on 5/17/02, 6/19/02, 7/11/02, It WAS open 5/25/02, but the line was SEVEN HOURS.

Since it's not July yet, I deduce that X has not been open for a year now...

It was closed last August when I was there. Just one more thing to turn me off of SF.
"who cares...you all act like this is some war."

Just to fill you in on a little secret.

IT'S ALL ABOUT COMPETITION.

WELCOME TO THE FABULOUS (thank you GOD!) COASTER WAR!!!
------------------
520, 500+, 160. prepare.

It is that competition that Miller&Baker is talking about that makes advancements like TTD a reality. Every park wants to be the best, and to do so you need to have something, bigger, faster, more twisted than everyone else around. Then when you finally build it, someone comes up with something better, and so you want something better than them, and so on. For example, if CP was the only park on the planet, they would've probably stopped with Magnum because no one else would be able to get one. But snap back to reality here, there are other parks, and they beat Magnum, so CP had to make advancements, and lo and behold, we get Millie. The SD2000 opens and 3 years later we get Dragster.

------------------
-life without danger is a waste of oxygen-

You know, "Snap back to reality! Oh there goes Gravity!" would really be a good sig here for the coaster world. The coaster wars is one of the only wars that is actually condoned, let alone praised! Let's hope that the arms race never ends.

------------------
What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.
