Okay, i'll toss in my two cents:
Peanuts Playground: Keep it. It's a nice spot for the kids
Aquatic Stadium: Needs to go. Screams 70's. Somethings from the 70's were cool (like KISS early Hemi Mopars, and Gemini), but this ain't. Maybe they should replace it with this: http://www.canobie.com/ridesskate.php and get it retheamed to a surfboard.
Ocean Motion: Should still be kept around, but needs an update.
DT building should be deep-sixed. It just needs to UN-THEAMED!
Trees should stay.
Any other ideas?

Yea, yea, yea! You could look out over the lake while you gently rocked in your log canoe. Oh, the pains are starting again...~wipes eyes~ Curse you Red Baron...I mean Maverick! ;)

We already have a spinning ride which also happens to be a swinging ride. a ride like revolution wouldn't be fun at all for someone just getting off maxair.
Fine. Anybody for a new Woodie? Maybe something similar in design to the Coney Island Cyclone?

What made you pick Canobie Lake? I ask because thats one of my favorite small parks, and also the one where I rode my first roller coaster, the Yankee Cannonball (the most underrated woodie out there, loads of airtime with no trim breaks.) I would much prefer they add the Cannonball instead of the Skater, but of course they wont because its too much like the Blue Streak (but better.)
Personally, I would go another direction and add a dark ride, any dark ride would be great (yes even the Sally shoot um versions) but one of the Spider man/Darkastle dark rides would be fantastic, and with the near by Snoopy area they could even theme it as a ride with the Red Barron. It could start out nice and gentle as Snoopy flies (low so that we can also see the kids) over Peanut landmarks like the Kite Eating Tree, the Wall, Woodstock's tree, etc but then the finale could be a fight with the Red Barron and the "big drop" moment occurring when Snoopy is invariably shot down (like he always is.) They could even have a simple animatronic of Snoopy on the front of every car (shake paws, turn head) that could interact with the ride, how great would that be, but I doubt it would ever happen at CP sigh.
Of course another coaster is never a bad thing either.
i'm from NH. it's my closest park (45 min away. They've been adding quite a few of the smaller rides lately. Plus, the Yankee Cannonball was my first REAL coaster.
BTW, did you know that the Cannonball and Blue Streak share a common father? They were both designed in part by Frank. F. Hoover from PTC.
The Cannonball is number #86 and the BS is #131.

Why not? you can't compare spinning to spinning. Or, swinging to swinging. Troika spins, Chaos spins, maXair spins and swings and Ocean Motion swings. So, are you saying all those rides are the same and there's no reason to ride any others after you've been on one? Come on. That's like saying you can't ride one roller coaster after you just get off of another one.
Most carnivals ONLY have spin and pukes. People seem to like carnivals. :)
I like Aarons post from earlier. Although I feel if they were to replace Disaster Transport all together, they would just do one coaster or Flat ride. Think about it, they would raise the price to almost $50.00 if they added that much in one off-season. I like the idea the most of replacing it with GCI woodie, that would be awesome. If they put that in, you would definately be able to see the beach. Who knows, knowing CP, this could be a project for 2009. As far as the Aquatic Stadium, I have a gut feeling that it will be demolished after this season. Maybe they'll replace it with a new Ride like MaXair and Skyhawk. Could you imagine what that area would look like without the aquatic stadium? Adam where you at? I want to place another bet with you....lol. Just kidding.
could you imagine how pointless another maxair or skyhawk would be?
I also think a boardwalk area would be great. Add in some flats and a woodie and like someone said a nathins hot dogs and you have a boardwalk. Have it abovegrond style and have a coaster that dives under the board walk and beach access.

^^ I believe he meant another "flat ride" LIKE maXair or Skyhawk. That could include a top spin, topple tower, anything.
Here's a few thoughts that kinda sorta flow together. Move OM to the BS queue area (lotsa concrete infront of Raptor). Move and enclose DD and stick in in Frontiere Land behind one of the shops (plenty of room between shops and MF). Remove aquatic stadium and put in deuling wild mouse coasters. BTW, remove Camp Snoopy and build a childrens are on Millenium Island (it looks like a dump on local.live). Use old Camp Snoopy for new GCI. As for DT, hmm. Instead of a large ugly building sitting on supports, mabye take the walls all the way dowm to the ground, new paint, and spice it up a little to match the paint of the wild mice. Boom, 3 more coasters for the FAMILY.....cuz that's what's important now.
Dont enclose DD. Its fine the way it is. If they did enclose it would just turn into another DT.

Why would you want to remove a family favorite area. The kids love Camp Snoopy and plus it fits in good right there by Paddlewheel Excursions. Yeah that area might seem boring, but you have to think about the kids here. And who cares what it looks like on Local Live TV.

^I know many of you are against franchises, but a Nathan's Hot Dog stand would fit in great.A Mack spinning coaster appeals to all ages. It's fun for adults and it doesn't intimidate kids.
maXair intimidates me, so I'm not really sure how you can get away with calling it a family ride. It's more disorienting than all the roller coasters minus maybe Raptor and Mantis. *** Edited 4/20/2007 12:34:48 AM UTC by Gomez***
I agree Maxair is the only ride I have ever riden at an amusement park that scares the crap out of me. Without a seatbelt I feel like i'm one minor malfunction from falling the the cement. I especailly hate when it hovers. Yikes!!!
Yeah I'm not really sure what you mean there. It has seatbelts and when does it hover.
maXair's restraints are so bulky, I could never feel unsafe. To be honest other than one crazy ride on Raptor, I've never felt unsafe on any ride at CP.

It has the big (seat belt if you like) restraint that goes around the whole thing, but I don't think there was anything around my waist. It does feel like it hovers to me when it gets at the top and your staring downward, it seems to pause for a few seconds which feels like an eternity, I felt like i was going to fall out, although i was sure i wouldn't, I have confidence in the safety of cp. I swore never to ride it again, but then I decided i'd try it again at kings island aka delirium and I had to close my eyes after a couple of swings. Freaks me out. It stopped me actually from trying skyhawk last year, but I think I will get on that this year, but no more maxair for me :)
