I'm not surprised with the close-to-interval on Mantis, honestly. There were several times last year where they actually hit interval or only missed it by under a half minute. There was hope for three trains on opening day, but that obviously didn't happen.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
They're just not connected together. Last time I saw them, they were assembled, the individual cars just weren't connected.

I said they had hoped for three trains on opening day. More than likely it will remain two trains for the season considering the third one isn't assembled for operation at this time. I'm guessing they at least tried it during testing, as it seemed that it was something they actually wanted to do.
As for Mean Streak, I was surprised to look up and see a walkdown in progress when there were several from here standing over by Maverick's entrance. *** Edited 5/14/2007 3:17:45 AM UTC by BlueStreak64***

I think it was the busiest OD that I have been to yet. There were a TON of kids running around all crazy like.
I thought it was kinda chilly throughout the day, and then at about 6:00 it was freezing!
I still had a blast though, and despite the abnormally long OD lines, I was able to get in quite a few rides.
Saw a lot of rollbacks on TTD as others have said, but as usual... as soon as I get on, it blazes right on over.
Magnum was running AWESOME with no trims.
I had the best ride of my life on Blue Streak. It seemed to be running WAY faster than normal.
Gemini's ride host's were very fun, and enjoyable.
Saw some people I know that I haven't seen in a while which was nice.
Thought about dropping by the PB get together to try and meet a few of you, but chickened out.
Maverick is looking so bad ass. The station, as well as the landscaping looks amazing. I'm pretty excited to see what all the railroad crossing stuff in the tunnel is about.
I can't wait to ride it. The anticipation is killing me, and seeing it all in person definitely didn't make it any better.

I thought opening day was great! The lines were really long, but after the BBQ when me and Adam were with afew of the other Buzzers, the lines really flew!

That they did! The lines never fail to seem shorter when you talking with friends.:)
