^^..Yes how were the crowd levels?..ive been wondering myself.

Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27

Top 5--- 1. Maverick- 2. Millennium 3. Magnum 4. TTD 5. Gemini

Cavs- 2007 Eastern Conference Champions!.-

I doubt we will be getting a lot of updates until later tonight, but I am also quite interested in crowd levels and seeing some new views of Maverick.

Thrills Around the Corner!

I have been watching the funcam and every ride seems to be running great, I haven't seen SkyRide go yet though...

the best webcam is from cleveland.com its a great view of the midway looking toward power tower

It looks quite crowded.

Thrills Around the Corner!

The looks definitely are not decieving. It was packed today. I just left about 3:30 and checked the line for Raptor before leaving and it was at a two hour wait as well as 1.5 hour wait for DT. After seeing that (and since I only live like 20 mins. away) I said "Screw it, We'll come back another day. We still managed to get in about 10 rides throughout the morning however and the PB OD party was pretty fun. Got to meet a few more peoplle and saw some others I had met at the closing day get together last season. All in all except for the crowds it was a good day.

How does Maverick look? Is the scenery all nice?

Let's Get Weird.

I had a nice opening day at the park. Weather was great. Got 3 rides on Raptor and 1 ride on Maxair during Joe Cool. I left about 6 and the place was pretty packed I thought. The new on ride videos for Raptor are pretty great! People seemed to love them. The PB get together was fun. I saw Mr. Kinzel inside Chik-Fil-A and he seems like a great guy. Maverick looks great! I noticed they replaced the Superstar studios with another gift shop, my brother wont be happy about this. He went there and made a song every year for about 5 years now.

I was tooling around Sandusky and it looked like Mid July on the roadways.

yes the park was very crowded. had a great time though. TTD was a 2 hour wait. the weather was great! and overall it was a good day!

Saw one car go by the Cleveland cam at 10, otherwise I haven't seen it since.

The SkyRide was down all morning due to the wind I believe. They started it up some time after 2:00.

TTD was not well in the early morning. Every other one it fell backwards. But later on it was a great day for riding!

Opening day was Awesome! Very nice weather and everything at the park looked great. This was my first 'opening day' trip, so I don't know how it compares to other opening days, but it seemed exceptionally crowded. I'll be posting a full trip report in the trip report forum...

The park was so busy today. Every coaster and ride at a minimum wait of 1 hour. Disaster Transport was 1 hour 45 minutes. CRAZY!

When I went on the Space Needle the parking was packed down to the last couple rows. I left early after getting on everything I wanted to ride.

I counted 5 rollbacks between 9:15am and 10:30am, and that was just from casually watching the webcams! It does look like the rollbacks have subsided now though.

Four discount funday tickets to Cedar Point: $130.96
Overnight stay at Breakers Express: $70
Riding rides the size of skyscrapers while "legally" breaking the local speed limit: Priceless

Opening Day was fun. Big crouds, good weather and lots of great rides. I took some photos if anyone is interested. After just getting back from California, this is the most exausted I've been at an Opening day, but I still had a blast. I can't wait for maverict to open. It looks sweet.
