how many years will it be until CP builds something worth riding..?

Now a lot of people have been saying that there were orange markings and stuff over by the old cars and raptor. Is there anyone who was able to take pictures of these when they were there? Also, about when were these markings there?

Sorry, first let me say I am more of a lurker on these forums than one that posts, but I figured this might be worth putting out there..

On my way back to Toledo on the Ohio turnpike I saw B&M track sections rolling down the road uncovered on a flatbed semi. I was at the rest-stop between Sandusky and Toledo (closer to Sandusky headed west) when I happened to turn around and on the east bound side I see two pieces of B&M track painted an ugly brown color. Unfortunately, as they were headed the opposite direction I had no opportunity to snap a photo.
Now for all I know this could be for any park east of Toledo, but I am just throwing out there what I am 100% sure I saw today.

What color were the sections? If turquoise, they were probably for Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland. But if that were the case, I imagine B&M would ship them on a more direct route, say up I-71 to I-90.

As I said in my post, they were a brownish color from what I saw. I didn't get to study the pieces as they drove by at 70mph, but they were not turquoise in color.

It could have been Iron Wolf coming from Six Flags Great America to Six Flags America.

Yep pointperson, I believe you are correct. I took a look at some pictures and the color is similar to what I saw on the road. Case closed.

Yeah, I missed that when I read your post last night.

Everything CP has built has been worth riding its just they have had bad luck with their newer attractions. Shoot the Rapids is fun and at least when I rode didn't get me too wet. Maverick is one of the best coasters in the park and as proved on the first can run in not so nice weather. Windseeker I can't say because I am 0 for 2 trying to get on the thing but I am sure its OK. I would have preferred a Starflyer but I understand that for this park Windseeker made a better choice.

I saw B&M track that was dark brown on the 15th on the turnpike, it was definately not going to Cedar Point, I was coming to CP from lower Ohio and was on the turnpike, it was the second rest stop on the ohio turnpike if you were coming to CP from the East on it. Still nearly 2 hours away from the park and heading the wrong direction. I have no idea what it is for or where it was going. I did hear a rumor today, this is complete speculation though as the information is 2nd hand and unverified. I heard that there may be a couple flat rides from GL coming to CP. I dont subscribe to this because I would have assumed by now these rides would have already been redistrubited or out right sold off. That same rumor places one across from WT where Chaos used to be and the 3 point shoot out sits now. Again totally unverified rumor and spectulation at this point.

The dark brown B&M track you saw was probably Iron Wolf from SFGA going to SFA. Not sure but just a guess.

You know another possibility is that it's simply part of Iron Wolf. That's a coaster that is being moved from one park to another.

That coaster I think was originally red but it's faded so much it's brown now. I've seen pics of it being dismantled, it's deffently iron wolf

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

I have ridden iron wolf before. single most painful standup coaster I've ever been on :( Good luck six flags america
