I do have a question myself tho - on the descripts it looks like only Commons dorms have lockers. is that true? or is there a place to lock up our stuff (like laptops etc) in the other types of places too (bayside)?
Dorms are the only place with lockers, they are large enough for most things, with a separate compartment inside where you can add an additional lock.

Thats why I got a BlackBerry lol. I can get internet anywhere and check up on facebook and emails. Another question about laptops. I am really debating bringing mine because of the few thousand dollars I have put into it, but would really enjoy uploading pictures from my camera and communicating to my friends and family. Is there a guarantee that commons dorms have one locker for every occupant? I have heard that some are stuck with only two lockers and three occupants. Also do you think leaving it or any other valuables in my car would be safe if they were hidden well enough out of view.

I wouldn't leave anything like that in your car especially if your parked at evc, which is across the road. Its a good chance you will have a locker, and if not you can change rooms a few times to find one. Ive brought my lap top every year ive been there and no problems...

Cool! I can also see if my insurance will cover it. Id rather pay 500 for a new one then full price haha. How big are the lockers?

They are double lockers... pretty wide. I had no issue keeping all my stuff in them and kept them safe. I had my laptop and camera...etc and it all was safe.

The lockers are probably a little over two feet wide. Maybe about 30 inches. They're definitely big enough to fit just about anything you'd need to have with you.
As for the Wi-Fi, it's available but my past experience has been that it's not reliable. It was usually down when I wanted to use it.
No, the individual rooms/windows do not accommodate air conditioners. The "living room" in commons apartments comes with an air conditioner.
You can bring an air conditioner for the living room in bayside apartments or dorm rooms at the on-point locations (all with an extra fee for using it).
last year my apartment in commons had a pretty bad ant problem. i would try to stay away from the apartments as they tend to get really dirty

I'm worried i wont meet anyone i like or someone wont like me, and ill get stuck in a dorm i wont like, i would really like to be in an apartment.
Then you can stay in an apartment

if you dont like your roommates you can switch your room at anytime. i like the 1500s. the bathrooms get cleaned for you (in an apartment you would have to clean it yourself and you would live with about 16 people). there is no air conditioning in the apartments (except for the living rooms). last year i lived in the 1500s. 3 girls including me. we each had a locker. but none of us actually locked them.
