What the hell is "manuel" anyway? Is that like a Latin friend of yours or something?

I think Millennium Force leaves their trains on at night but I'm not sure. I know Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, Magnum leave some if not all of the trains on the track. Jeff B don't you remember Iron Dragon closing each night with a train on Lift 2.
Dragster is one of the few coasters that has enough room to transfer off all of the trains.
M-A-N-U-A-L ... I thought it was kinda funny to see that in your signiture seeing as you probably have no idea when, why or how Manual Mode is used.

Jeff: always asking the hardball questions.
I've been wondering the same thing, but figured I would leave it alone. Maybe he wants Manuel, the Latin Drag(ster) Queen to run the ride.

Every ride has different procedures at closing. At Magnum, one train get's transferred off to the storage track, one is left next to the storage track in the readies, and one it left in the safety brakes outside the third tunnel. They can inspect the trains, change wheels or whatever on either the readies or the storage track. So they do those two, then they let the one from the readies into the station and bring the one from the safeties over to the readies and inspect that. When the crew comes in, there is normally one in the station, one on the readies, and one on the transfer. The crew transfers on, then cycles each train, does a block check, and then test rides each train before opening. The whole process takes about 20 minutes start to finish.
It really depends on the ride, but for the most part, the crew transfers at least one train off at night (5 or 6 in the case of Dragster) and back on in the morning. Transfer procedures are also very different. Raptor, MF, Dragster, have drive tires to move their trains forwards AND backwards. Magnum's trains have to be cycled around to transfer them off. This is why on really windy nights, you might see a train left on the lift and the last train of people will walk off from the ready brakes. MF does this a lot more frequently to avoid sending empty trains especially in the cold weather.

OK honestly, what have I ever done to you! Why do you have to point out something stupid like that, why! OH MY GOD I spelled manual wrong!!!!
If you must know I put it there because one time I heard the ride op say "Ughhh, switch to MANUAL" after he had said it like 5 times within a 45 minute period. And I thought it was funny.
And just because it's there doesn't mean that I have to know what it means or how MANUAL works. I put it there because I thought it was funny plain and simple.
You started a stupid and point less argument Jeff after you complain about other people not sticking to topics and what not. Were you bored and just decide to start an argument because that has been up there for a while...until now.
So if it makes you happy, I got rid of it. *** Edited 5/4/2005 7:34:04 PM UTC by TTD 120mph***

If you look at the tower cam now, you can see that dragster is testing with all 6 trains. (there are none on the transfer). Maybe we will see 6 train operation this season after all.
