Just because the tower is lit up doesn't mean that they're testing. We just can't tell. The only way would be to watch the cleveland cam and see if a pic of the tower lights lit up shows up. But still, they're probably just setting up lights for the ride(s).
And Jeff, I saw what that one person wrote before it was deleted, nobodys perfect. I think we all know that Big Jon means lit not lite. It's just one letter for gods sake. *** Edited 4/26/2005 3:46:19 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

More lights are coming on which I think means CP is indeed just setting up the lights for the rides. Dragsters station, PT, Corkscrew, Mantis and I think MF are now lit up. *** Edited 4/26/2005 3:45:31 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

Nice to see (on the Cleveland cam) that Power Tower's lights are changing colors. Then again, it seems to start that way every season, then they stop about halfway through.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
It appeared as if trains are now being moved on and off of the transfer tracks.

What's there to set up? The lights aren't taken away.

Oh, well I didn't mean actually "putting in" the lights. What I meant by "setting up" was turning them on and seeing if any need to be replaced or if anything is wrong with any of the electrical wiring.

As of right now now there are only 4 trains on the transfer track . I think we may see some testing today. YAY.......Well maybe if the weather clears up.

The weather doesn't have to be clear for the ride to run. You just don't want any sort of rain while you're riding it. Trust me. It hurts. A lot.
Cycling empty trains in the rain, isn't a big deal at all.

If TTD can run in the rain, then why during a regular operating day does the entire track have to be dry for them to get up and running again?
I was told by maintenance that the reason they do not run Dumpster in the rain is because the wheels will bounce/hydroplane? on the track, causing it to tear up the wheels.
thats what alot of us employees called it

The story I've heard is not anything to do with the wheels on the train, but rather the drive tires in holding and unload have trouble moving and/or stopping the trains when they are wet. Makes sense since MF also has problems with "overshooting."
