As of right now, there are only 5 trains on the track. I think that's what he

Dragster uses water from the lagoon, as in where the paddlewheel boats are, SRF is it's own enclosed system. The lagoon is drained and filled with the seasons ending/beginning.

Yes, so why does the SRF lagoon have to be filled before TTD begins testing? If the two are completely independent systems, what is the reasoning?

They drained the lagoon by Snake River Falls and then need to refill it. Because the lagoons are all connected to eachother TTD can't get its water supply. I don't think he is joking.

Without water in the lagoon, TTD cannot effectively cool the oil. A train or two could be launched, but then you would have to wait quite a long time for the oil to cool down so you could launch another.
So what you're saying is that the main lagoon, the one that Paddlewheel runs in and is used for TTD cooling, is drained (thus drowning all the carp) and refilled every year? Maybe it's me, but that sounds like a load of carp.

I've seen the lagoon drained plenty of times. What happens to the carp? I don't know.
Do they burrow in the mud?
Do the somehow make their way out to the lake?
Beats me.

water cant be compressed why dont they use water in the engine (Just kidding)

Ummm, drown a carp? The only way I ever saw something drown like a fish was a shark being dragged rapidly behind a boat. So, unless they drag the carp behind a boat at a high speed, it's highly doubtful that they drown. Suffocated maybe? Don't know what the proper term is, but it isn't drown. ;)
The lagoon is the, let's say stream, that is in the middle of the park the Iron Dragon goes over and that surrounds MFs island. I highly doubt that it is ever drained. I think what JuggaLotus is trying to say is that it doesn't make sense that they have to wait for SNAKE RIVER FALL'S lagoon to fill if they can just get water from the lagoon right next to it because the main lagoon is never drained, watch the TTD tower web cam.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Why would they drain the stream if there is fish in it.......that would be mean!!!! Maybe they dont drain the ENTIRE lagoon/stream/whatever.

I think it has, because look at the pic attached.

That could just be an optical illusion. It's probably just the space between the track and tower column. Plus the train would of stuck out much more.
We'll see it testing soon. We still have 2 weeks to go. WAIT A MINUTE, THAT'S NOT LONG!!! THEY BETTER HURRY!! :) *** Edited 4/20/2005 8:27:10 PM UTC by TTD 120mph***

Still think its drained...

It's still inconclusive. We would need more photos of the lagoon during winter. Photos over the past 3-4 years.
Or we could just ask CP directly.

Watch the webcam that is mounted on Dragster, all winter you can watch the lagoon freeze and then thaw.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
It has been drained many times! I've walked in the empty lagoon! I've cleaned garbage out of it and have even lost a shoe in the mud. Why is it so hard to believe that it gets drained?
I don't know that it gets entirely drained every year. I don't even know if it is drained right now. But believe me folks, it can be drained and has been drained before.
