That must have hurt. I mean, I can understand trying to throw a tome, I threw a dictionary at my brother once, but trying to throw the entire lair would at least cause a hernia if not worse.

I think he meant 'thome', as in Jim Thome. But I certainly wouldn't want to try throwing him either. That guy is strapping; what does he clock in at, 210, 220? Plus why would you want to throw him anyway? Guy hasn't been the same since he bolted for the Phillies.

Not to mention he carries a big stick and probably wouldn't be happy if you tried throwing him.

I dunno. He's only batting .248 this year with 111 strikeouts. Probably miss you the first couple swings.

Yeah, but he's still a home-run hitter, so that one time he connects is gonna hurt like hell.

So throw him fast!

Maybe someone should throw him into the Lair of the Vampire so there could then be 2 screamsters inside. It couldn't hurt that house.

New blog entry about it today. I cant wait for the anouncement, and the event. Sadly it looks like I wont be able to go until Columbus Day weekend (probably Sunday but perhaps Fri.)

I'm thinking it might be a new haunt that uses a lot of R's in its name. Or maybe something with the Railroad. Or maybe it's some kind of animal growling... GRRRrrrrrrrrrrr! That's a frequent use of R's!

They placed a nice tease in there for everyone.

I walked past the IR sensor to make the Monster in a Box (MIB) shown in T&T's blog move. I was expecting something more dramatic. I've seen home-made ones do better than that. But with that many people walking past it I guess they can't make it go nuts. It makes a growling sound and the box does look good. So it does the trick. You can see a huge air compressor behind the bales of hay. I like the idea.

I do not expect anything to be on Millie Island. When flying overhead on Millie it does not look like it can be occupied. It is overgrown with weeds and is being used for storage. It needs some major labor put into it before it can be used. Not to mention it also would need a transport mechanism to get guests over there. It would be really cool to put a Halloweekends attraction over there. But, I would have expected them to already start preparing by now.

Using your R's ... like a pirate maybe ? That is the rumor I have heard from a maybe reliable source. Time will tell, and if I am wrong all I can say is "R!!!!"

A maybe reliable source should be the cp blog. You quoted from it.

I never said anything about them mentioning pirates in the blog, just the R's. the quoted text is the blog entry.

Cedar Point doesn't need to hire more people for the haunted houses, they need to invest in better props and effects in them. Look at the pictures from the latest cp blog from the new Boo Hill. Those props actually look real. I've been to several haunted houses in Michigan where they have maybe five people in the whole thing, yet the props and effects do all the work and these houses are far better then any at cp.

^^My point is that your assuming that maree.maree's "source" is simply the blog when in fact that it's possible that she had someone tell her something specifically about pirates. I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just saying it's a possibility.
