Halloweekends Announcement August 28th

The August 11th Blog Entry tells us the Halloweekends announcement will be on August 28th. It will be announced on the Halloweekends website.

Where or what is 'Dave' from?

I am pretty sure he was the robot that used to be in the repair bay in Disaster Transport.

When the blog said they would announce what is new, do they mean 

for next season or halloweekends?

They mean what is new for this season's Halloweekends.

I have a feeling Mille's Island is gettin a robot attacks theme. :)

Man I wish I could have seen DT with that robot. That looks beast.

Well this is cool! I'm interested to see what they do with him.

As I mentioned in the other thread on DT, Dave was in the first effects room which is now just aluminum walls. Dave was not in the Repair Bay. There was a talking robot in the Repair Bay (the foreman), but it was not humanoid looking. I wonder if this means the end for Pharaoh's Secret?

I certainly hope so. That had to have been the most lame-ass haunted house I've ever been in.

Is their any pictures of Dave when it was back in Disaster Transport.

Hmmm, a good question Big Jon. I don't think I've ever seen photos of Disaster Transport's 1990 queue. The only place I can remember seeing Dave in action was for a few seconds on the 1993-1994 Cedar Point VHS video.

I'm really exicited to find out what's new for 08'! I hope they re-theme Pharaoh's Secret, It's getting old.

Dave will be in the lost ride graveyard announcing the end of DT.

I personally hope Spit is spot-on.

^My nephew certainly doesn't. He loves that ride.

It would make me giggle to see DAVE in the ride Graveyard. Wonder what the gravestone would say. Here lies a big mistake, an avalanche that turned true disaster. Lol
